Maybe the answer is to have completely separate male and female tours including the majors. Prize money appropriate to income of event. If that means equal pay then so be it, but I doubt it

I see a few brave souls have come out and called it as it really is but you need to search hard for the articles. She disgraced herself and the longer she waits with her apology, the more her reputation will be tarnished. There's talk of umpires refusing to referee her games - now that would send a message to her and the idiots who support her actions. It would cause further damage to the image of her and of the sport but maybe that's what it will take for the powers that be to wake up and smell the coffee?

I agree, the outburst could almost have been forgiven if it had been followed by a heartfelt apology.
Serena has dragged the sport down and as the icon of the sport needs to be the one to bring it back.
I see the umpire gave a warning to a male player for smashing a racket, seen it given many times, so not sure how he can be accused of sexism/racism for doing it.
