As it says, we are both going through a critical phase early in the season, can either of both see their way through to the end of the season?

Hecky first for me. CL is in with the bricks of the new stand.

I think that CL isn't that far from the sack. The troops are very restless. I cant see your guy getting the sack this season or at least not this early.

Your probably right DrJ, definitely more heat on CL but PH needs to improve all round or he will be out before Christmas. Certainly a few results the other way would help both. Cup ties will have a huge bearing for each now as well.

PH first for me although think it will come later in the year. He would have to make 3 or 4 signings of the right calibre player to improve this Hibs team.......I cannot see this happening. Although Fred will disagree I can see CL turning things around a little at Tynecastle and with us looking so poor it takes the pressure off him a little as Hearts would still be above Hibs which the fans will enjoy. The first derby result could be critical in any decisions on sackings.

Reckon the odds on both keeping their jobs are shortening by the game to be honest.

The final straw for either could be the performance in the upcoming derby.

One thing in Hibs favour is that the new owner won’t put up with the performances and the results that the Hearts fans have endured.

No way will the Hibs fans be as passive towards Hecky as the Hearts fans have been towards Levein, Fred is correct Craig should have been punted months ago the simple cup run to the final bought him time he should never have been given. I predict now one or both will be gone before the end of 2019 ( maybe that is obvious though ).

I've not seen Hibs play this season so far. Are they so bad?

I've not seen Hibs play this season so far. Are they so bad? Result wise apart from Sevco and a sickner with the last kick on Saturday, we have got away with it. The style of football is slower than a week in jail (apparently as I’ve not frequented that establishment), the tactics and substitutions have baffled us. We could accept the performances if we were actually winning games but the fear is he’s just not understanding the Scottish game, he got the bounce after the Lennon fiasco with Lebanon’s squad, now he’s had a window and we are questioning his signings who have pretty much all been lower league players in England. Time will tell if they players bed in and Hecky is correct tactically or not. Comments like his on Saturday won’t help. It’s obvious Allan’s not a winger and he should have moved into the middle and Mallan or Vela should have been taken off, if Allan was ‘injured’ as he said it wasn’t obvious to the crowd and he should have used his wording more carefully afterwards.
