Judging by the second half, we were the better team and in the first half your performance wasn't better than ours in the second half, so I would actually say Hearts were teh better team overall. We dominated you in the second half almost entirely. However, our finishing was awful and where it essentially mattered most - in front of goal - you did what we couldn't.
Ross should be worried by Hibs' second half performance. If we had strikers, we could have scored 4. That tailing off may come back to haunt you in the second half of the season. As you say, you've already lost points due to it.
Junior. From where I was sitting ( my comfy leather recliner) It was obvious Hibs came out in the second half to let us have the ball and try to strike on the counter. We looked much better than them in the second half because of that. They just wanted to see the game out as they knew we would struggle to score one goal never mind 2 or 3. Why bust a gut if there is no need? Easy 3 points and rest up for next game. Bobby From my seat sorry standing position up in the Roseburn end at Tiny this was the way I viewed it also, barring one save in the first half and a double stop in the second Marciano had very little to do. You are an absolute shambles currently and Stendal interviews are baffling and much like when we had Butcher, he seems to be alienating current players and already they don’t look like they have the fight for him or they are truest awful. January window will let us know wether he can get players in to get you out a hole or if relegation is realistic.

Having now slept on it, my assessment of yesterday is simply that we are a team of cowards.
Only positive from the game was Sean Clare's performance, who I thought did very well. Damour and Mulraney absolutely horrendous again. Uche useless up top yet again too, McGregor had him in his pocket all day.
Such a gutless performance. Plain and simply, they wanted it more than us - every ball and the result.

Like you MTS agree gutless performance, but what I would say is Stendel style of play is so well publicised it is so easy for opponents to play a system against it especially as we DO NOT have the players to play the system and IMO, that for me has to be a BIG criticism of him. The players must take the blame once they cross the line. Mulraney, Damour, Uche, don't seem to understand the system, I know we had injuries but barring Damour the whole of the starting midfield were not midfielders, a winger, a defender, a leff back and someone who doesn't know the system so what fecking chance do you have. Fed up with our round peg in square hole approach , this has happened for years and 15 shots at goal and no goals, again something that has happened for years get a fecking goalscorer, perhaps the one who wanted to come back on the summer ?

There's an argument that stendel isn't the right man for us right now. In the summer? Sure. He's got a squad bereft of confidence. The club needs action in January. We should be busting a gut to get a director of football in. Considering the lack of knowledge in football at board level, it's extremely worrying. If your only football input has been from levein, how the hell are you going to make good decisions?

Missed the game but for the last 15 minutes of the first half.
I therefore cannot comment much on the game but does sound like we sat in second half and looked for the counter?
The bit I saw though I thought Hearts had plenty of huff and puff and were asking questions but Hibs were showing a lot more bite into the tackle than of late.
However I did feel that the save that Marciano produced from Meshino may well have been a decisive moment as going in at HT 2.1 down, having seen Hibs a lot this season, the nerves could have started and the JTs would have come out with their tails up. Fortunately Marciano produced a great save and the psychological advantage stayed with us.
Well done Hibs for managing to see the game out, a part of the game that has been their achilles heal this season.

At last a Hobo comment I can agree with, if only we had a bit of bite about us in the tackle
