I think it could turn into a bit of a kicking match. I'd be very surprised if there isnt a sending off or two.

It’s a game we could do without and in my opinion it’s ridiculous that the game is being played as we’re so far behind in match fitness. Hibs fans have never been as confident of winning a derby and if you look at social media Boyle’s pace is going to destroy us and Rab C is going to score a Hat Trick. Hopefully Robbie will come up with a cunning plan. They never learn As for Boyle, he may be quick but it is whether he is still in control of the ball at the end and what he does with it ..........based on Saturday.........not much . I'm sure Robbie would have noticed from the stands, Newell and the work rate of Nisbet and Doidge from Saturday along with Hanlons reading of the game but apart from that ...........perhaps many hoofballs and Gogic fouling his way through the game . It will be much closer than many of the fans of the green persuasion think. Good to see you posting again NH. You have been missed.

1.1 at 90 minutes 3.1 hearts after extra time or if it follows the pattern 6.2 to Hearts

So how come Halliday is not cup tied for the semi? Did they change the rule temporarily because of Covid?

Yes, changed it so that Celtic could play David Turnbull.
I think we will go with one wide player rather than 2. We have looked a bit over run in midfield, even against the Dundee care home XI we were outnumbered in there. I think Haring, Halliday and Lee with Ginnelly/Roberts out wide with Walker/Naismith behind Boyce. Im still not convinced Haring is ready for this, he has looked pretty slow. I still think Smith is our best in there.
Alternative is a back 3, with Smith in with Popescu and Halkett and Kingsley and Roberts/Ginelly as wing backs. Haring, Lee & Halliday in midfield, or could have Irving in there. Might be more solid.

I think Roberts will play and Gino on the bench

I agree with that, I really doubt Gino will be fit, it would be a big risk to play him and I don't think we will play 2 wide players.
If we don't have either of them then I think we have a problem.

Euan Henderson bagged four goals as Hearts warmed up for Saturday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Hibs with a 5-2 win over Airdrie.
Robbie Neilson is determined his whole squad will be ready to take on their greatest rivals at Hampden.
The Tynecastle side have only played five competitive games so far this season in the Betfred Cup and Championship this season.
So Neilson organised a game against the League One Diamonds to give those members of his squad that hadn’t featured as heavily a run out ahead of the trip to the national stadium.
And Henderson grabbed his chance to impress with both hands, bagging four with three of them coming before the break at Oriam.
Skipper Steven Naismith was Hearts' other scorer, as he and Peter Haring played 45 minutes to keep them ticking over ahead of the big one.
They weren’t the only recognised first team names involved, with Jamie Brandon, Andy Irving, Lewis Moore and Harr Cochrane all playing a part in the win, while Ross Stewart deputised in goal for Craig Gordon.
Jamie Walker sat out, but is expected to be fine in time to take his place against the Hibees on Saturday, as is Jordan Roberts.
Winger Josh Ginnelly will be assessed in training tomorrow to determine whether his thigh injury has cleared up sufficiently for him to be involved at the weekend

Problem is Hampden is made for 2 wide men. I wonder if he might play with Robert's on one wing, Walker in the hole and give Naisy a free to roam role

Giving Naismith the ability to roam around as he wishes behind the strikers and in-between the wingers is perfect imo. Also he is very used to playing at Hampden for Scotland as well as Sevco.
