Funny, but not alot Hibs can do to be fair. Diffrent world down there, What gets me is that is a glamour tie, once in a blue moon game, now I've only watch highlights, but that does not look a full stadium to me...🤷♂️ I was listen to hibs fan at my lads game last night saying he had to jump hoops for tickets, so am confused?? I mean sure you are going to lose, but as I told my kids at our impossible european games last season, it's about embracing the quality of world class players in front of you we don't have luxury of seeing week in week our. 19K plus last night. Segregation meant seats unused in the South Stand and some Hospitality as per usual probably never turned up either, Looked fairly full otherwise.

When Hearts lost 5-0 at Home v Spurs, we played our strongest team in the away leg and got a 0-0 draw. Hearts fans had a blast. I think Hibs fans who have bought tickets will want to avoid being humiliated - difficult decision for the manager. Point of interest is the following season Hearts ran Liverpool close, only losing on aggregate to a last-minute goal so maybe Hibs too will learn from this - mind you, they need to get back into Europe first and that is not going to be easy.

19K plus last night. Segregation meant seats unused in the South Stand and some Hospitality as per usual probably never turned up either, Looked fairly full otherwise. 19k🤔... must have got board and played hide and seak then. 🤦♂️ As Villa are my hometown club who I followed home and away for the first 30 years of my life I went on Wednesday night for a bit of nostalgia Obviously I had to sit with the Hibs fans and from my experiences of Easter Road over the years, at the start of the game I think 19k was about correct. As the goals started to go in you obviously started to lose the delusional ones who had thoughts that Hibs could do something so seats started to show. Never understand people that leave that early especially when for once you have the chance to watch a top side from the EPL even though Villa never got out of first gear. It was good to see Emery go with a strong line up to start as it would have been so easy to play a weakened team and so gave the opportunity for fans to witness their top talents. Loved to watch Traore on the right, especially as he was given so much space and the way he duped Stevenson to win the penalty was a thing of beauty. Poor old Lewis had a torrid afternoon against him but fortunately will not come up against that class in the SPL. Saw Traore a few years ago when I went to watch Ajax and have liked his skills from then on. Thought Hibs fans in the main were excellent ( as they knew they were up against a very good team) and stuck by their side. A special mention must go to their block 7 singing section who never stopped for 90 minutes ............not easy to do when your team is chasing shadows for most of the game and ending up 5 goals down. It was good to see a large number of Hibs fans stay till the end and applaud the efforts not only of Hibs to get to this stage but also John McGinn and his Villa team.........showed a bit of class.

"A bit of class" is obviously stretching it - but I do agree that, whilst some can have a laugh at the stands emptying, the fact is many Hibs fans did remain to the end (and not out of protest) and that should be recognised.
