***A SHOCKING PERFORMANCE***
Our two full backs were a total bombscare and Hoff had a nightmare in the engine room. Shankland hasn’t got the pace to play wide right. Why hit high balls to Vargas. Forrest kept running into trouble. Lowry was either really bad our on a different wavelength to his teammates. I was shocked that no subs were made at HT. I can see why we didn’t sub our full backs as we have nobody fit that can play there but Lowry and Hoff were like playing with 9 men. The Subs did help but it was too late as we’d already gifted them 3 goals.
Their penalty, WTF was that all about, I thought VAR was going to overturn it but Dallas agreed with the referee.
Nick Walsh another shocker from him.
I see no improvement under Naismith and the team are still making the same mistakes week after week.

And the Weegia are following the narrative I see. Quote from the BBC game report:
The second half was just 12 seconds old when Alex Cochrane was penalised for a clumsy challenge on Kyogo. However, Hatate cracked the spot-kick against the base of the post.
This whole league/ organization needs blown the fuck up if that is a penalty ffs.

So glad that I decided not to go today after the last game. Three halves in 2 home games have yielded 6 goals against. We lack direction and leadership especially in midfield. How the likes of Niewenhof gets a regular start in baffling. I don't want to single the laddie out as he isnt a bad player but to me he looks ordinary at times when we need consistent quality. Don't we have better players available in the centre? When will Beni or Haring be ready to start? Fair to say that management should be able to get a tune out of that squad but a wee bit extra quality is needed in places.

Just seen the Highlights, could have been 6 as per usual, Softish pen but didn't have any impact on the final outcome. Harsh times ahead for both Embra teams it seems as we play the Tic next Saturday at home and the Tarts play away to the Sevconians the following day. Roll on November!

The impact of those kinds of decisions do have an impact hfc. Maybe not on the scoreline but in the way Celtics opponents approach the game. It could be making them stand off their players , for fear of giving away free kicks or penalties, thereby allowing them more freedom to do their thing. Subtle impact but as with all the wee decisions that seem go the Uglies way, these things add up and continue the advantages afforded to THEM.

While we were shite today, until refs stop leaning to the Ugles we can't do much, Vickers dived in his own box and gets a free kick with no one near him.. I'd rather fore fit this game, force the league into changes by everyone refusing to play them.

Worrying statement yet again from Naisy “There's maybe only one or two goals we have conceded this season that we have not played a part in ourselves. And that's an issue. If you want to be successful you can't continue to do that." The performance lacked cohesion , some of that will be down to players available , Niewenhof was overrun, he has been doing okay, thought Beni was looking much better when he came on as did Oda, Shanks must be played up top and we have to get Boycie on for longer, Cochrane is a good footballer but his defending is questionable at times, never a pen, Walsh gave the Tic everything that was marginal, I genuinely don’t know what a foul is anymore. Tactics seemed to be give their wide men as much freedom as the want and allow crosses into the box, 20 mins in the the 95, we looked okay but they were in 3 mins spells and nothing happened. Easy day for oppo and I don’t think the two games against Sevco will be any better With the fixtures at the weekend coming up we could easily drop to 8th maybe 9th if the Hobos have a go against the Tic🤬🤬🤦♂️

I’ve got no idea what our game plan was yesterday but if had nothing to do with trying to stop Celtic from playing their normal game. I genuinely think that Naismith thinks we’re too good to do the hard graft. Lower league teams go out with a 5-4-1 or a 4-5-1 game plan to stop them from playing. We just allow them the freedom of Tynecastle. I’m concerned about the fitness of the players as they all seem to be blowing out their arse during the first half (Devlin excluded)

Fitness has been an issue for ages. How they can't get it right is just frustrating.
In terms of tactics, I'd rather we had a go at them than just sit back and soak up pressure like we usually do but this only works if we have the fitness to match it. On a basic level, it's about being first to everything and playing on the front foot

Just reading that Sunday was the lowest attendance for a league game at Tynecastle in 17 months. 17608.

Lack of fitness is unforgivable, we cant sign the best players, but we should be able to compete with them on fitness.
Paul O’Connel the ex Irish rugby captain, had the mantra that he wasnt the best rugby player, but he wanted to be the best in the world at everything that takes no talent. So fitness, the fastest at getting up off the ground, the most organised etc etc. Its. Really good way to think. We should be looking to do that, we should always be at least competitive,

Just reading that Sunday was the lowest attendance for a league game at Tynecastle in 17 months. 17608. AND THE REASON?

The reason is people don't want seats near the scummy Celtic support and seats have to be blocked off to keep them segregated from the rest of humanity. I'd still rather have them limited to minimum seats (although I guess the couple of hundred illegal entrants standing in the aisles weren't included in official figures).
