According to JKB the club are trying to convert Aidan Denholm into a right back. Not sure if he’ll be playing there today. Fecks sake just play them in their right positions 🤬🤬🤬

Well that’s 93 mins I’ll not get back again. We looked world beaters for the first 10 mins and then it turned into Neilsonball.
Beni Baningime winning the ball in the middle of the park then passing backwards the whole game with Hearts players making great runs.
Now home, freezing and pissed off.
3 points though 😂😂

3 points is important. I thought Beni waa MoM Kingsley also solid. Beni did a lot of good work, winning the ball but for me he’s far too defensive with his distribution. Anyway I heard today that’s he’s been offered a new deal and has turned it down and wants to leave in the summer.

Very good start to the game with some lovely football but we had no end product. Forrest for me is simply just not good enough (despite his lovely strike against Hibs)- offers nothing, rarely beats his man on the outside as he doesn’t really have any pace. Grant also imo just doesn’t do it for me either. Thought Beni did ok but he doesn’t seem to be able to find a defence splitting pass which is what I’d expect him to be able to do. Defensively, solid enough, however, for what we’re paying in wages, these players should be performing so much better, so the question is, why the fuck are they not?

Ha, so much for him wanting to look after the club when we supported him throughout his rather lengthy period of injury. Bitterly disappointed if that is indeed true MTS

Well that was another tough watch. Other than some brilliant moves early on it was more of the same sideways and backwards. Still. Three points in the bag. On to next week.

Things we learned yesterday.
Clark is not as bad as we think he is. Kingsley Kent and Rowles are solid at the back. Cochrane is an excellent wing back. We desperately need a right wing back Grant and Forrest are not good enough. I’m quicker than Boyce There’s a severe lack of pace in the team. I’d rather have a midfield general than a hotel.

Great start, if the stonewalled had been awarded think it would have been a bit different , Beaton and var both poor on this, some good link up play but when the Farmers got behind the ball we went back to passive footie and didn’t have that spark to open them up, Kingsley did well but his lack of right foot causes us issues, Beni did fine and there are signs of return to form, but still hasn’t got the confidence to play that killer pass, Cochrane excellent, but again his defensive work is questionable at times, For no pace Shanks and Boycie linked well, Lowry never got going again, shades of McKay 2nd season, Grant couple of good things but in the main poor,,crying out for creation in midfield and pace, please get our wingers to take people on the outside, fed up with them cutting inside and crowding out the play, 3 points and now 3 games that will show what we have, can see our improved away form be severely tested though and us struggling against the cream buns especially when they get their var assisted pen 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Just listened to Ryan McGowan on the podcast “scarves around the funnel” who said their frontmen (May and Kane) pressed Kingsley and Rowles to stop them playing the ball across the back and they allowed Kent to play a pass to the midfielders or a long ball. They were happy that the defending was all in front of them and not behind them. We’ve no pace up front.
