Big Cup Fourth Round Saturday 20th January 12:15 Live on the BBC
Most of the players have been on Holiday in Dubai so hopefully they’ve been keeping fit. Training starts on Monday.

Ideal game to give Gordon a start, and our new right back, although that will be a given as Natty is away.
Hopefully see Denholm and a couple of otjer youngsters.
Spartans won’t be a push over but if we don’t have enough to beat them even with a couple of kids we don’t deserve to go through.
I expect the Brora result will weigh heavily though and we will go full noise.

The big fear for me is the failure to score goals. If we create chances and take them it should be comfortable but we've struggled in so many games that we need to heed the warning. Keep going for 90 minutes without easing off even if a couple ahead.

Heart of Midlothian defeated Kilmarnock in a bounce game at Rugby Park. Steven Naismith's men won 2-1 thanks to goals from Kenneth Vargas and Adam Forrester as the squad gained valuable minutes following time off during the winter break. Hearts return to action on Saturday when they face The Spartans in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup before hosting Dundee three days later in the Premiership. Craig Gordon and Zander Clark both played 45 minutes in the match in Ayrshire, while new boy Dexter Lembikisa got 45 minutes under his belt before a possible debut for the club this weekend after his loan move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Looking forward to seeing Ainslie Park. I grew up in West Pilton, went to Royston Primary School and would have gone to Ainslie Park if I hadn't been accepted at Trinity Academy. Used to walk by it 4-5 times a week. On Saturdays I would catch the 19 bus on Crewe Rd to the west end and then walk to Tynecastle. The good old days.

After that term was finished we moved to Dumfries for 2 years and then emigrated to Canada in 1968

Hearing Shankland is not playing tomorrow. I guess Sevco came in with a realistic bid of $8m or so😎

No fecking about today, play the strongest team available. I watched Aberdeen struggle against the worst side in the SPFL last night who hit the post before Aberdeen scored.
Hearing Boyce not ready, Grant and Beni back but on the bench and one of our defenders rested.
Why do players need rested after a winter break.

Pitch looks good for astroturf.
