It was clear there was no foul on Boyle in the lead up to the Sevco goal - the Hibs manager was wrong to call that out - there is a perfect angle from behind where it shows the sevco player never touched Boyle. The angle was shown several times on tv so I'm surprised the Hibs fans/manager are making a song and dance about it.
I think the Hibs diving and playacting has caught up with them tbh - even Neil Warnock knew all about their reputation and was angry with his sheep players for giving Hibs the opportunity to throw themselves to the floor.
Last night was a perfect example of Hibs biting off more than they could chew; they started diving and falling over as if they had been shot and didn't consider the fact they were taking on the masters of the black art in Sevco, so, Boyle dives, 10 seconds later Sevco payer 'initiates a tangle of legs' in the box. Penalty to Sevco. Ponytail guy starts diving, infuriating the Sevconians, 10 seconds later Sevco player crumbles to the floor out on the wing and rolls around claiming he was hit in the face. Red Card.
Hibs couldn't cope with being outsmarted so player lunges in to get revenge. Red card.
Hibs should realise their cards are marked by refs now and they really aren't in the same league as Sevco when it comes to conning refs so they might as well go back to trying to play football and save themselves all the heartache.

So you weren’t shafted today then, it was just your own fault is what you’re saying. Thought the Ref was decent, got all the big calls spot on. Surprise surprise you had to comment but no. We had chances were the better team. Should win. Foul on Boyle in build up to Sevco’s pen. Assault on Boyle decision give the ball to Butland. 2nd yellow for Obita never a booking and nothing happening until Goldson get involved. M-Welsh is rash no contact but could see why it’s given as a red but it’s harsh. almost a fair assessment imo, If only you could assess the Derby in the same manor. 😉🤔🤣🤣

Shambles of a refereeing performance, just as Hibs were coming back into it McLean issues a second yellow. Second guy to see a red card was seeing red mist but surely a yellow and a good lecture would have been enough? I look forward to hearing Hibs manager's post-match interview. The ref was poor, no doubts there. I'm not going to blatently defend the 2 Hibs players who were sent off. The 2nd booking was (Obita) kinda soft but he got involved moments before that when "Ushering" some Sevconian people from the pitch. As for Moriah-Welsh, well i thought it was Red around the same time as the Ref did, which was immediately. On reflection having seen it again on tv later, yes it was rash i agree but yellow would have been a reasonable outcome. McLean Couldn't get the Card out of his pocket fast enough. The penalty is given probably more often than not but we've been in those situations and not had the benefit in our favour but we were playing Sevco, enough said. I thought the refs handling of the game throughout was poor with the everyday decisions that crop up 20 times a game which always infuriate fans. A few points to bring up, namely did u see the falling over some of the Sevco players got up to. 2 seconds in from the kick-off and again few times after that. What was going on there?

Back to Hibs performance. Well i'd give them a B. (yeah i know we lost) I actually like some of the things were trying to do. The new recruits are starting to gel and although there's no Silverware coming to ER this season i still like the beginnings of this new side. It has potential. 5 games to play before the split and 3 are very winnable, (Ross C,(a) Livi (h) and the Farmers (a)) with the other 2 being away to both Sevco and Well. 9 points may well be enough with 10 i think defo. But we'll see won't we.

The new boys are just startng to gel, eh? Just in time for the loan deals to end and rinse and repeat for next season. Revolving door of loans with “gelling “ having to take place every year. More mid table mediocrity beckons with a sprinkling of playoff spot struggles thrown in for good measure. 😉
