An apology from the SFA and refs for not checking the Devlin handball, fat lot of good that does us but at least it’s been acknowledged that the onfield officials were corrupt in not giving our penalty.

Corrupt!!! FFS man, just a genuine mistake. Live with it That’s a cop out when every decision to help the arse cheeks out is scrutinised to death. I can deal with the ref maybe being unsighted, but we have 4 on field officials and a VAR team and there is no excuse for them all missing that. Will this become a VAR mistake? Or likely swept under the carpet as VAR made no call? In my opinion why are clubs being forced to pay for a system to benefit 2 clubs? Every week these refs need to put out a report publicly to the paying punters to go over all decisions to make them accountable to getting every big call correct and reduce these “honest mistakes” to a minimum and stop this nonsense that pundits with an agenda defending the team they support.

I'm sure on the highlights programme they showed the screen saying, "checking for handball" so they should have referred it for an "onfield review" . ( they admitted today that this should have happened) I see today that Hibs have issued a statement concerning the incident.......getting like Sevco! A friend of ours is related to the referee and he said he was unsighted .......that's why we have other officials and VAR apparently. I think ek is correct in that a mistake was made so move on. Equally Aberdeen can feel aggrieved that the Miovski "punch" wasn't referred down to the monitor. Dav is right that VAR basically benefits 2 clubs.......I cannot see that any other club would have got the first penalty at St Johnston last Sunday or the winning Celtic penalty against Hibs the week before.
