Why can we not just absolutely refuse to give them any tickets to the game? If you were having a party at your house you decide who is coming and who you won't invite. Surely? I know there are league rules etc regarding ticket allocations but this happens way to often and the leagues can make clubs play games behind closed doors for violations so why not allow individual clubs the right to refuse entry to certain clubs and I use the term loosely "supporters". I'm not sure there are rules for numbers at league games. There is a minimum though at cup games but I think it is something like 5%

Good for Ann, like this, now it's time for Hearts and Hibs fans to be more civilised in the Derby matches at away ground and stop punishment being inflicted onto their own club repairing the stadium

If that is the case then give them 500 or whatever it works out to and surround the heathens with security. First sign of bother wade in with truncheons and tazers and drag them out.

She is straight to the point. With the right moral conviction, she'd be a good politician.
Here's an idea: do not allow away supporters to come to Tynecastle unless their team accepts liability for any damage done to the Roseburn stand and will pay for it in full.

I think we made a mistake asking them to feel at home - forgetting that home for most of these scumbags is West Belfast.
We should refuse to give the club tickets for future matches until the damage is paid for in full and, even then, we should make sure each and every Celtic fan is in between two stewards - Celtic to pay for the stewards (and to pay them the living wage).

Total cnuts.
A Celtic spokesman said: “These people are not Celtic supporters.”
Why is it so hard for them to accept responsibility / blame for their own?

If they KNOW they are not Celtic supporters, that indicates to me they know who did it. So it's simple really just give the names to the police and it will become apparent that they are not Celtic fans. No problem
OR
They're talking shite - take your pick. .

Lets not kid anybody on...these are definitely Celtic fans, and Celtic have to come out and totally condemn them and this ridiculous "splinter group" of the already ridiculous Green Brigade. Any other response is wrong

You know it will all be brushed under the carpet again tho', don't you.
We can also expect a continued backlash and negative spin from the weegia for having the temerity to raise this issue.
The good thing is AB Will not back down over this and won't be browbeaten or cowed by the "establishment" as other club's chairmen have in the past whenever they stick their heads above the parapet to raise issues with Celtic and their "supporters".
Have strength Ann, stick to your guns.

While I don't disagree with Budgie. We will, probably have to move from Tyne to achieve it. Tyne is a cauldron that is what makes it the most atmospheric stadium in Scotland. I don't think you can retain that and create a family friendly "nice" atmosphere. No excuse for morons smashing seats but I do believe some of our lot have done similar at fester road and other places. Frankly, there is a moronic element that follow, mainly the bigger, football clubs. 90% of the banter at tynie is good fun! but coin throwing can kill or maim. Celtic sang the bonfire sing at tynie, now personally I thought that was fun banter and acceptable, others will disagree. Do we for example want to go as far as to ban swearing in a " family friendly" setting
If Budgie is serious she needs to get in and about our thug element and show the way, embarrass the others into it. Use the press to shout about our success in our fight ,make them talk the fight to the others and the GFA.
There was a rumour that when Mercer took over Hearts he hired some EX thugs to go into Tyne and sort the news ones out. That approach wouldn't work now but something just as radical is needed.

Any other response is wrong Not only are they Celtic supporters, they happen to be amongst Celtic's most loyal and regular supporters - hence their ability to use loyalty points to get their hands on scarce tickets. A few years ago, they banned 128 supporters for smashing seats at Motherwell. Then they rescinded the ban because the IRA (sorry I mean Green Brigade) demanded the ban be lifted and guess what happens when they rescind the ban on these fucking lunatics - seats get smashed, certain songs get sung, kiosks get looted, stewards and ball boys get abused. They are most definitely Celtic supporters and Budgie is most definitely right to demand that Celtic sort these scumbags out!
