Does Gas mark still exist? I thought it was all in centihieght these days? I cant say I have any issues, Dominoes give you a refund if it isn't hot so never had to worry about gas marks. How about your ring? How hot does it get?

hahahahaha
To convert gas mark to degrees Celsius (D), multiply the gas mark number (G) by 14, then add 121 (G × 14) + 121 = D For the reverse conversion, G = (D - 121)/14

What's that in Farenheit anyway? Damn yanks! Just when are yous gonnae get intae the 21st century anyway? I don't think it will ever happen. Inches and feet, Farenheit not centigrade and not a metre in sight. Gasoline in gallons (not imperial) and miles not KM. MPH not KM/H. It's like living in the UK bwfore the EEC.

Aye. We hear constant tales of Americans crossing our border and as soon as they see the speed limit is 100(KPH) it is pedal to the metal!

Always feel jipped when I am doon your way and order a pint as well . 16oz instead of 20. The buggers here are jumping on that bandwagon too in order to maximize profits. Some pubs are only serving 16oz "pints"

My neighbours kids implore me to "whack it up to 9 Wayne, we wanna go paddling". At Mark 7 the poor wee scones are building igloos and harpooning narwhales . That's the difference mate.

Some pubs are only serving 16oz "pints" When I buy a UK bottled beer and pour it in to my pint glass there is always some left. Seriously what's the point of keeping imperial measurements if you can't get them right?

Personally oak, I'd embrace the little bit left in the bottle. Feels like you're getting a deal.
