Aye, don't get me wrong drj, I didn't mean that Hearts are just big and strong but when you have these attributes along with skill it helps in easing opposition off the ball etc especially in 50 / 50 situations. All the top sides have strength with their skill, I have seen over the years many really skillful players who have never made it at top level through a lack of strength or lacking a little pace. Now lets talk about the foul count in last Sundays game...... Slightly disingenuous Exeter. The 9 Hibs fouls were all leg breakers, every one, without exception Whilst at least 6 fouls were given against Hearts players for blowing their nose in the general direction of a hanky. Plain as the nose on your face and blatant for all to see. You'll be claiming victory in the singing next... Clue.......... ..........now lets talk about the hand / arm around McGinns throat in the second half bust up ( or had he forgot his hanky and helping him blow his nose? ).......if you raise your arms.........I'll try it again.....

Don't worry mate, I got the clue, which was why my reply was also jesty, tongue in cheek. I'm not gonna go into what the ref chose to see or not, but I do think some teams perceptions of us as a big, dirty team are swaying refs mindset, sometimes even before a ball is kicked. I'm not talking about Hibs, as obviously we're unfortunately not playing you on a regular basis this season. However I was disappointed to see Aberdeen players greetin about Hearts foul count prior to the cup tie against them at Tynecastle...ironically Aberdeen had actually committed more fouls than us in the league up to that point. To then see the headline "Horrible Hearts" in the Aberdeen evening express after we'd handed them their arses in the cup game was doubly disappointing as we were far from physical that day and played them off the park. People see these kind of headlines and pre-judge.
Sorry mate, I'm on a bit of a rant. You're not the brunt of it, but I feel this perception is now accepted by the hierarchy and we're suffering for it.

Does anyone know how the postponed match with partick affects Rossi's suspension?

Rossi is free from suspension, he was available for the Partick game. He was banned for 2 matches which were Hibs and Ross County.

Team selection could be crucial on Tuesday. I cant remember the last time we had so many options and potential formations. keeper ok that's easy no change there. Back four after last week probably harsh on McGhee and Soutar but I think we should, and will revert to Augustyn and Rossi. Debate is at left back do we stick with newly named bombthreat or the reliable McGhee. I think bombthreat will get the nod. Midfield is anyones guess. I have a feelling we will go with 5. Sam and Jamie wide and Palardo Cowie and Djoum in tbe middle with Juanma on his own upfront. That leaves Prince, McGhee, Soutar, Douda and Zanatta on the bench. Strong bench to call on.

If Dauda is fit enough to go 90 I'd agree with you but in that case i think he will bench a wideman and play three in the middle. I cant see RN playing two up and two wingers away from home.

Interesting storline in EEN today. The report goes that either McGhee or Souter will stand in for suspended Ozturk. I dont know if that is the reporter saying it and just forgetting Rossi and Augustyn or if it was Robbi and he intends to play Rossi at left back with I'm assuming McGhee in the middle with Augustyn.
