Yeah. Thought we were way below our best today but every win is important. 19 points ahead of our only credible rival, it should be over and who would have thought it, but there is still work to do. Beat the hobbits, and that will be a tough game, and we go 22 clear of them. At that point IMO it becomes unassailable. However, we won't win playing like we did today. We need to up our game to where it should be.

Don't think so. Enjoyed using their Almondvale Suite though. Very civilised way to start the match, pity the facilities inside the stadium didn't match up. They must have made a fortune out if us today. £5.00 to park car 10 for a bus. Plus all the drinks and food on sale in the bar. They will reap the benefits of our visit

What goes around comes around. Karma and a' that.

Right guys, here's the low down. Largest travelling support in BRITAIN over the festive period, yep you read that right, the whole of the U fuckin K. Every man Jack of them ready to sing and chant their cocks off for 90 minutes in acclamation of (let's be realistic) champions elect, and to reaffirm their love and support for the team. Holiday weekend, everyone in cracking spirits. What do we get as reward?? I'll tell you what we get......fuckin crap is what we get.
This lot better buck their fuckin ideas up or we're gonna get a kicking next Saturday and it'll be deserved. Fuckin disgusted with the performance and crap attitude of several players today.
Worst I've felt at a Hearts game for ages. Who the fuck lets keatings take penalties?? Twice this season, both exactly the same, fuckin shocking.
Buck your ideas up Hearts, or you WILL fuck this up. Believe you me, you will find a fuckin way.
Bollox of a performance. I'm really fucked off now, disgusted.
Apologies for the language people, i'm just really hacked off with what i watched today.

Not surprised by your comments wayne. Couldn't get a feed but listened on Hearts TV and my feeling was they were not interested in the second half. Robbie better get them straightened around. Maybe this big lead is not such a blessing after all. We would all like to win it in a canter and may still do, but it may be the breeding ground of complacency / lethargy as far as performance is concerned. May be time to give some youngsters a run in the team and smarten up the attitudes of some of the older pro's. As for Keatings. I said in an earlier post I could understand why he took the penalty seeing as he is the in form goalscorer but from now on choose someone else. Had he scored at that point we may have blown them away.

Wayne totally agree with you and a tad ashamed that I didn't come out and say so after the game. Ok here are my views. First time this season I have seen our midfield bullied, some of the distribution was shocking. One thing I feel we need to remember is that we get away with things in this league that we won't next season. For example , as good as Patersons goal was on Tuesday, there is no way he would have been given time and space to do that in the prem.
We are way superior to anything else in this league when we are at our best but I will say right now, if we play next Saturday as we did today the hobbits will beat us. Won't be the end of the world but I'd rather it didn't happen

I wasn't at the game so I can't comment on the performance but we've played 3 hard games in a week and won them all without losing a goal. The sign of a good team is one that plays badly and still wins, the uglies have been doing that for years. Robbie will have them prepared for the Derby and I believe we are good enough to take all 3 points.

I'm with MTS and I'm in no way worried about next week. Hibs are on a good run and played really well yesterday......they are 19 points BEHIND us and 20 goals worse off. Everybody is still waiting on a spectacular collapse from us and a challenge for the title. I've seen NOTHING to suggest that can happen

Looked like hard going yesterday for the Jambo's but they got the win. I've said before that it's a pretty poor league which Hibs have made an arse of from the start hence the 19 point deficit regarding the Jambo's. The Hertz have made the most of things this season and fair dues in that respect but having viewed the 2 Derbies, it's hard to think up logical reasons as to the explanation as to why the gap in THIS LEAGUE is so big other than that!. The last Derby at ER showed that there really isn't much to choose between the 2. Come to think of it there wasn't much in the 1st Derby at Tynie either!...so come Saturday I'm expecting another close game with few goals. 1-0 to US .
GGTTH!....C'MON THE HIBEES. SUNSHINE ON GORGIE! .....................................................................................................

It's not a poor league at all mate, some of the football I've seen this season has been more than acceptable, as for the gap then that says more about your lot than us. It seems tho that you are getting your sh1t together now so hopefully you kick on...cement 2nd place and give us a wee kicking to keep it interesting ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I love everyone confidence but I would issue a word of caution.
For the first couple of months of the season we were playing fluid football and scoring for fun. Every week we seemed to be scoring 4 or more and DrJs 3-1 bet was attracting a lot of banter.
Then SOW got injured.
Since then I have seen several posts along the lines of "another 3 points but we didn't play well"; "good teams are those who win when not playing well"; then there was Wayne's tirade.
We seem to be scoring the occasional goal and then counting on the defence and Alexander on keeping a clean sheet. Good for them and a good defence is the basis of every team but times seem to have changed.
We are the league leaders by a mile, are playing at home against a team we usually beat but the urgent search for a new stricker seems both desperate and necessary.
I hope that Sow comes back soon.

I don't agree it's a poor league, Sevco have already outplayed and beat Kilmarnock and St Johnstone in the cup, there's not a lot of difference between the Premier and Championship Leagues.
BT, - We have only dropped points in 2 games this season and Sow played in both the games.

Sevco got thrashed by Hibs before this match kicked off so we simply had to contain Livvy and win - avoid stupid bookings and injuries etc I.e. Get the job done and no more. I am sure we could have raised the level if we had to but Wayne makes us seem like a bunch of disinterested, lazy fuckwits. You don't go 18 games unbeaten with such an attitude and I think it is disingenuous to label this Hearts team as such. I appreciate you want to see the Hearts firing on all cylinders, especially having paid good money, but that can't always happen. Horses for courses etc and we'll see a different performance v Hibs, I am sure. We are lucky to have a team to follow at all so let's not whine about a scabby win that puts us 15 points clear.
