Sorry guys. May have jinxed it by joking we should be 4-0 by halftime!
On a serious note, we scraped through in the end but I'm concerned at the lack on intensity in our play. Credit to Burchill, he changed things at half time and Livingston were the better team second half overall but just lacked that quality in the final third.
There's always going to be games where passing the ball around and retaining possession isn't going to work. The only time we play with serious pace is when we win the ball back high up the pitch. I'd like to see us use a pressing game more.
On a positive note, it was good to see the likes of Nicholson and King looking very sharp and hungry to beat their man.

I would like to say that I found the initial experience at Livvy game as amongst the most civilised I have had at a game. To park in the stadium car park and to have a bar with the option of food available just for the away support, was for me a most satisfying experience , so different from the usual bring treated like something the police and stewards have trod on. Unfortunately, the in stadium experience didn't match up, with too few working turnstiles and insufficient toilet facilities.
I do wish however that the pre game experience could be replicated at other grounds. Let's face it Livvy must have made a fortune out of us and good luck to them.

If tickets were £20, they will have made £150,000. I'm not sure how much the tickets were though. Then the pre-match stuff! Yeah, not too shabby...

Lets remind ourselves of 3 games in a week ,nine points and nil goals conceded ,as well as playing 3 very different formations,in terms of personel and shape,.so a week till the Hobos come to town, would still like to see more forward options though, struggling due to injuries but would not put it past CL AND RN to find a gem for us ,maybe before the game ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ?

By that reckoning we play 2 games every week, and we all know that isnt true. The three games in a week nonsense is a misnoma put about by coaches to excuse poor performance. We played ONE extra game. Also the three games we played were against the bottom three in the league. I'm not complaining about the results, we did what we needed to do but I do get annoyed about professional sportsman complaining about how playing one extra game in a week means they are tired. Lets face it if we get to successful again and are back in Europe that is what is expected of us and that may entail foreign travel and games against really tough teams.
