Chins up lads. At the start of today to be honest most of us would have taken a 2,3 or 4-0 defeat and said it's about what we expected. It is just the way it came about that has got some of us riled right up. BBC stats say something like Celtic 16 fouls and Hearts 5 or so. looks like we were kicked around the park again by the weegies. How can they justify not issuing at least a yellow to Brown for persistent fouling? Hearts Tv boys were saying he committed at least 6 or 7.

If I was Robbie I wouldn't be holding my breath about getting a call from today's referee. He just needs to get the squad re-focused on the League campaign now, I continue to be impressed by his conduct during interviews.
This game was always going to show us the standard we need to strive for in order to match Sellick - positives, Prince steadied the ship when he came on, and Pallardo is calm & always tries to make a pass.
PS - their captain had at least eight fouls (I lost count) awarded against him with the ref giving him nothing but a wee chat - he truly is un-bookable,

Brown appears to be untouchable. Ok that aside our captain once again dived in to a needless tackle, ok I gather he made no contact but in with both feet studs showing, what is he a fekn idiot? It gave the referee the chance to screw us. The penalty is just a joke, probably didn't affect the result but at only one down anything can happen. After that it didn't really matter
On the positive side it was good to see the lads kept trying to play football and didn't let it affect them to much. Maybe time to give Billy King a wee break, youngsters can't keep the performance level every week and sometimes need a rest. I thought Billy today was completely out of his depth but I'm not moaning just feel he needs a break n

Result not totally unexpected, however, the performance of that fucking useless fucking arsehole that goes by the name of Willie Fucking Collum is what has slightly upset me tonight as you can see. Absolute fucking diddy he is- a damn cheek to take his pay for that today. How embarrassed will he be tonight when he sees the penalty incident-fucking useless tosser he is.

Some shocking decisions yesterday. Scott Brown alone committed more fouls than our entire team, yet 1 of our fouls is deemed a straight red whilst another is deemed a penalty and a booking. Brown gets a wee talking to from Collum after foul #5 on Jamie Walker, collum points out areas of previous infringement by Brown and clearly indicates 1 more foul and you're in the book. Fast forward to 3 subsequent Brown infringements and collum still hasn't produced a fuckin card.
I thought last week's refereeing display was bad. Thompson, believe you me, you have a fuckin long way to go before you can even begin to sniff Collums ineptitude and bias.
His venomous snarling at RN for encroaching from the technical area was pure comedy too. As soon as his back was turned you could see Robbie mouth arsehole.

Q. Should the SFA appoint Collum to officiate any Celtic-Hearts match?
A. No. Even before yesterday his performances in the fixture have been risible.
I hate Gollum but I hate the SFA more because they are happy to see Scottish football a laughing stock purely to f*ck us over. An observer from outside watching yesterday would think they were watching a game in Franco's Spain or North Korea. Gollum is just a tool for them- it's like appointing Richard Madeley to the Smith Commission (which they did, judging by the report).

The SFA think Gollum is the best referee in Scotland, UEFA think he is in the top 20 best referees in Europe. He makes high profile mistakes on a weekly basis and he answers to nobody, he is untouchable unfortunately.

I don't want to buy into the theory that Column is corrupt... Hibs fans complain about Craig Thompson being corrupt against them and I don't agree with that either. They can be inept and do make some inexplicable mistakes but I'm convinced that's what they are. We have been the beneficiaries of some dubious decisions ourselves, and while the bad ones drive me mental I hold onto the thought that they aren't bent

I agree, we have crap refs but I doubt they are bent. Yes they will sometimes give the rub of the green to the "big" team or to a loud home support (we probably benefit a bit from this at times at Tynie.)
We cant really shout about both Thomson not giving cards and Gollum giving a card for that type of tackle. WHat we can gripe about is consistency. I think Gomis deserved at least a yellow possibly a red (as mentioned before he should know better) however I feel the same about the tackles (Miller, Boyd & Black) the week before. If those had been given then we would have nothing to complain about. Until there is consistency then there are grounds for moaning.
We also don't help ourselves in having a shocking record for discipline. GOmis and Prince have been booked more often than not this season and mainly quite rightly, they are physical players, so they know they are walking a fine line every week.

Guedetti should be done retrospectively ,slip my arse, dive !!!,agree with most ,how the feck Brown did not get booked or even sent off for persistent fouling is beyond me,Collum and many more are just inept with an obvious tendency to go with the so called big teams, shocking performance from him on sunday though. Worrying that we did not seem able to get the ball to our front men other than the high ball,I had hoped even with ten men we had moved away from that style of play,Think it,s time for king to get a blow and for Nicholson to come back in and to get back to 2 up front!!maybe using the young lad Buchanan from the start!!

The only person capable of taking care of Brown was Gomis. The referees never do so either one of our older boys shows him we'll stand up to him or we let him run riot against us. Brown probably knew that he could draw a reaction from Gomis as that's not the first time this season Gomis has stood up to the rough tactics (and been red carded for his trouble).
Not sure if I like that or loathe that attitude in Gomis tbh but I do think that if refs sorted Brown out in the first place, other players wouldn't feel they had to.

As much as I detest Brown. His role is to noise up our main men. It didn't take much did it. I'm sorry, as much as Collum is an arsehole, that tackle would get you a red 50% of the time and probably 80% against the uglies. If it had been Gomis first season in Scotland I might want to excuse it but he should have known better. He cost us the game Collum just helped him.

How a Manager avoids the 'Did your player cheat' question:
Top Tip #1 - Pretend you haven't seen it and haven't spoken to the player;
Celtic boss Ronny Deila had not looked again at the sending off or the penalty by the time he came into the media room for his post-match press conference.
He said: I haven't spoken to him (John), but from my position it looked like a penalty.
Obviously we will expect Delia to inform us of any change to his opinion after he has looked again at the incident and/or after he has spoken to the player and/or after the piss-poor reporter follows up on the story the next day...
Top Tip #2. After seeing the incident and speaking to the player, get one of your assistants to explain:
Celtic coach John Kennedy has defended John Guidetti over claims he dived to win a penalty in the club's Scottish Cup win over Hearts at Tynecastle.
Referee Willie Collum pointed to the spot after Guidetti went down in the box without any apparent contact from Jambos defender Brad McKay.
Hoops coach Kennedy says his player simply lost his footing in the penalty area and said accusations the Man City loan star had tried to cheat were unfair.
He said: "I don’t think it is a dive, John is not the type. He’s not the type of player who dives and looks to cheat."
