Saturday has gone and in my opinion anything other than 3 points tomorrow means we are out of the World Cup in Russia 2018. I reckon it'd be just like us to go and win over there but the Slovaks will be under huge pressure to get their campaign started. As always I'll watch it and hope we win but I'm not too confident

I'll be surprised if we manage a draw.

I'll be surprised if they arrive there. Couldnae find their arse with both hands and a map! And if Griffiths does not start...........they may as well give up anyway.

We need a terrific performance (and I don't mean a Gordon Strachan terrific I mean a proper terrific) to take 3 points here. But it's been 20 years or more since we had one of those and probably 40 years since we had one away from home, so don't hold your breath. We'll take a scrappy goal from our only misfit shot if it means a win but, again, don't hold your breath. Expect a 1-0 defeat with a pathetic performance and you shouldn't be too disappointed.

Im going for the win. The players are better than they have shown. Defense is a car crash though.
I dont know about anyone else but when I was younger I was desperate to see any Scotland game, now Im not really fussed. I think its due to looking at the team and trying to figure out who they are. Players who are either not getting a game in the 1st team or play for Walsall just doesn't resonate with me, I have no idea who Russell Martin is, no idea if he is any good and dont really have much interest. I also wonder about the temperament of these guys. If they are used to mediocre being acceptable then thats what you get. Even if playing in a "lesser" league winning is a habit and a mindset. There is pressure playing for the likes of Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts to win the majority of games which just isnt there for Blackburn or Sheff Weds. So even if playing at a higher level the performance levels can drop due to that.
I still support Scotland and its delighted when players get selected but Im just not that passionate about it any more.

I think in this group teams are all going to take points off each other home and away. A lot of closely matched teams and England. There isn't a real number two team. I wouldn't write us off for second if we don't win tomorrow. That doesn't mean I think we are a good side just that we are on a par with several others.

The Daily Ranger reckons there will be 5 changes to the team that played Lithuania Do they say who they think the 5 are? Griffiths almost a cert. Probably McCarthur for Fletcher. Berra for Martin? and maybe bring Tierney in but then where would they play Robertson who seems to be flavour of the month

Clear foul on Fletcher but David Marshall has to do better there surely.
