We're thinking of Florida for next Easter and there's so much choice of activities for non-golf days but I don't want to waste my time and money doing crap things. We've no young kids in our group so we're more into meals and wine than Mickey and Minnie but we don't mind a little bit of culture as long as it doesn't ruin the next day's golf. So what should a group of grown up grown-ups do in Florida apart from golf? Any suggestions?
If you've no idea, then tell us about the best and worst tourist attraction you have enjoyed/endured. My examples: Stonehenge, Giants Causeway are both complete shite, as are the truly fucking overpriced artificial attractions such as Madame Tussaud's and Lego land. If you take your family to those places for a day out, you deserve all the hatred coming your way through their teenage years. On the other hand, I'm sure kids will always remember swimming with dolphins and won't care that it's cost mum and dad 200 quid for photographic evidence.
Anyway, best and worst, U.K. And worldwide, grown ups and kids, everyone?

Last time I was there, which I grant you wasnt yesterday, there were 2 great golf courses and lots of adult fun to be had

I've only been to Florida once and we did the parks, never really wanted to return. If I did go back I think I would probably go to the Gulf Coast or the Florida Keys.

Cape Canaveral k19. I thought it was fantastic. Having grown up during the moon landing years it was neat to see how it was done. If you like fishing I can recommend a guide. (Fresh water). The golfing is phenomenal. Watch out for gators on the course though. If you are into beaches I found the Gulf coast to be better than the Atlantic. Much more calm water and little wind. The Atlantic has big breakers and strong winds at least the times I have been there. Take an air boat swamp tour and go aligator spotting. Of course for thd women there are tons of outlet malls and stores for cheap deals on clothes and shoes etc.

I'd avoid Florida if I didn't have kids to keep happy. Love it or hate it, Vegas is much better for adults.

My kids loved Orlando, the parks did my head in, shopping was amazing. Worst holiday for me was Benidorm, fucken hated it. New York was defo my favourite holiday Empire State Building was my favourite attraction, Toronto a close second, CN tower and Niagra falls brilliant however the area beside the falls was super tacky. Montreal reminded me slightly of Edinburgh plus the French Canadians very rude. I would love to go to Vancouver Island, my youngest is dying to go to Brazil, my eldest dying to go to Iceland and my hubby will go anywhere except Turkey.

The best trip we did on our last Florida holiday was to go snorkling with Manatees in the wild (Crystal River, on the gulf coast). Absolutely brilliant! Just do it!

As for the worst. The open topped bus tour round Glasgow can be summed up in one word.
WHY?

We stayed in a farmhouse in the isle of Whithorn for a week. Surrounded by fields with big beltie cows. Nothing else there apart from really strange people and smelling cow shit for a week. The highlight of that holiday was going to Morrisons in Stranraer.
