Where we not forced to remove Hearts logo from centre circle about 10 years ago? I don't understand the logic of it. Sunderland, many years ago were also told to change their goal nets because the had a black cat pattern. Seems ridiculous

Making rules for the sake of it.

Typical of a lot of organizations. Put a stop to people who are capable of thinking outside of the box. Same as us getting rid of Cathro so quickly...............JUST KIDDING FFS!!

Actually, I agree with the ruling in as much as we shouldn't have lines all over the place. It makes it more difficult for linesmen to detect offside if the mowing lines are not straight. I'd go further and say ALL the mowing lines across the pitch should be 10 yards apart to assist referees in positioning defensive walls at free kicks. I would allow the inside of the centre circle to be 'artistic' and maybe small badges mown in between the regular mowing lines but that's it.
And yes, it did happen to Hearts some time ago (I think more than 10 years ago) when I think we had the badge mown on both sides of the pitch in between the centre circle and the 18 yard lines. Looked great in the sunshine and we had it like that for the first two home games or so and then the beaks told us to remove them.
