Forgetting the fact it's a ridiculous sport, and is only played in one country (which is not ours) I'm more than a wee bit p1ssed off to hear that the BBC pay £2m a year (not including production costs) to show the NFL over here. More than is spent on the Scottish domestic game

I recorded the BBC on a BE provider and missed the final quarter due to the actual event not corresponding to the scheduled time.

BBC coverage was quite poor, much better elsewhere. I suppose they see that NFL games at Wembley, Twickenham and soon Spurs sell out, so realise there is a great following over here and want to get into the hype. Fantastic game by the way and whoever called that trick play on fourth and goal at the end of the first half whilst the Eagles were ahead must have nerves of steel........I would have put my mortgage on a field goal! To win against Brady et al with a second string QB was brilliant.....well done Foles and the Eagles. Oh and well done Jay Ajayi.....only the second British born player to win a Superbowl ring.
