My boy just called and told me he got 2 tickets for the game tonight. With both teams out of the playoffs and basically just playing out the string they were easier to come by than normal. Hard to turn down a chance to go to the Battle of Alberta. So we are going. Connor McDavid of the Oilers is still chasing the overall scoring title and has been tearing it up at a torrid pace the last ten days or so. He was about 6 points behind he leader 2 weeks ago and now has a six point lead. So if nothing else he might put on a show and score a few points tonight. Of course if the Oilers win we all no what that means for us at Dens tomorrow. Right k19🤨😁

First Oil goal was similar to the game I saw in Tampa with the netminder giving it away and the subsequent cross being turned in. Oil did well to shut out for the second and third periods but yet again it appeared to be a great display by the Flames netminder to stop any more than 2 goals for Edmonton.........including the last second scramble. Lets see what that means for Dens Park this pm Bobby! ..........in theory a JT victory??

Other than the result was a good night. A few jugs drank and lots of abuse shouted at Flames. An off night for our goalie Cam Talbot sealed our fate early. That being said we had more than enough chances to win but didn’t. There was one good scrap which we won so not all was lost! Nothing like a good scrap to get the blood flowing. No points for McDavid. Not sure where he stands in the race now. Will have to check.
