Wouldn’t surprise me if this ended 0-0 but will stick my neck out and say we can win this. Securing top six (minimum requirement) after the indifferent season we’ve had allows us a free hit for this and the post split fixtures to attempt to catch the teams above. Definitely will be a tight affair once more.

The Tarts were really Pish last night. Nothing to fear here! However these games have a terrible habit of turning into damp squibs. 3 points and we go above the Hertz with the final Derby to come soon at ER. We still have an outside shot at 3rd or 4th but there would be a bit of a consolation prize if we finish above our noisy neighbours.
GGTTH!

#respecttherivalry videos from both clubs, good idea will be shot down by plenty though, at least the clubs are being proactive towards the game. Rivalries, banter and atmosphere are all great for the spectacle let’s hope the fans on either side listen to their clubs and don’t overstep the mark and spoil the occasion! We are not and never will be the Old Firm and for that I’m grateful, and hopefully we get a tremendous atmosphere a good game to talk about with no flash points from Collum or the crowd and of course always Hibs to win 😉

Love the atmosphere to be great and with good banter Dav , but the build up and the ned factor could mean the exact opposite

Unfortunately you may be correct county, I get the 90min hatred etc but objects that are thrown or supporters on the pitch etc are not on, the game across the UK has descended backwards recently, I like seeing our clubs try to make a stand but idiots will be idiots regardless, let’s hope the fans that go can behave at the appropriate levels

It's one thing to despise your rivals and enjoy a chuckle when they fail. But to hate? Who is actually willing to invest the time and energy into that?

It's one thing to despise your rivals and enjoy a chuckle when they fail. But to hate? Who is actually willing to invest the time and energy into that? Sorry wrong choice of wording used. Hate wasn’t the meaning I wanted. As it is I will be with a few guys I know between 8-10 tomorrow am with my laddie and his pals and a few are ST holders at Tynecastle the banter I’m sure will be in full flow, we (boy and me) were lucky enough to get tickets for tomorrow and after 10 will be heading to meet our crowd of Hibees that we attend games with at one of the guys work as he will open it so we can have a couple of cans before heading along. I know dozens of ST holders that will be their tomorrow and I don’t hate any of them and in fact pretty good friends, so much so that whatever the outcome we tend not to contact each other after the game as a mark of respect. The banter will start again Sunday or the next time we meet up.

Agree with you all. Let's leave hate to the manky duo. I dont even dislike Hibs, I'm passionate about Hearts ergo for 90 minutes I want to see Hibs pulverised. I'm pretty sure that's a fair reflection on how most feel.
What astonishes me, is that with all the adverse publicity football violence has been getting, we still have nutters perpetrating it. Another firework thrown at players on Wednesday at st Mirren.
Let's hope for good banter great atmosphere zero trouble and a Hearts win.

I don't hate anybody. (i'm a Hibby) I want Hertz to lose most weeks but that's only normal city rivalry. I could even (at times) want them to win in certain circumstances but that comes back to wanting what's best for your own team. Hibs in my case and if the Tarts can do us a turn then i'm not that fussed if they turn some team over and we benefit from it.
If the Tarts get passed ICT and face Cellic then I won't lose sleep over them winning the Cup even if they will rub our face in it for the whole of next season and indeed beyond that in their usual way.
GGTTH!...hertz 1 hIBS 3

I don't even look for the Hibs result unless they are playing one of our rivals in the League.

Think Hearts will win this though Hibs I am honest enough to say have a better all round side. Hope their is no trouble and certainly no coin throwing or pyrotechnics, by the way for those lucky enough to have served in the military you will know that that was no "firecracker" thrown in Paisley, that was a military grade pyrotechnic the good old MK1 Thunderflash, how the hell do idiots get hold of them??

Question......should I give a feck and get up at 5am to watch or just roll over and go back to sleep ? Lately there have been times when the latter would have been a more enjoyable option!

Is this the only time that the derby and the national have been contested on the same day.
