Last derby of the season.
Can Heckingbottom do a quick double over Hearts? Will it go back to being a damp squib? Can Levein get one last bit of redemption before the cup final?
Another early Sunday KO, Hibs take their unbeaten league record into the match under Heckingbottom, Levein always gets his players up for a derby battle. Going by Hearts fans this game is the only match that matters in the top six before the final proving its all about Hibs.
Levein under pressure so I think this match will be closer than expectations at the moment

Certainly the signs don't look good, no chance of going up the league and then there's Hampden, aah well roll on next season and the next batch of iffy signings by our untouchable boss CLπβ½οΈπ»π»π»π»π»

Don't like all this talk about Hearts losing heavy and Hibs winning easy (been in this position before and it's not that simple), but I do think if we can play as we have have been recently we won't lose. But I expect a tough game as Levein won't set out as negatively as they were against Sevco in the first half.

McNulty and Flo are overdue a goal and it's possible that they both score on Sunday that's how confident I am dav...3-1, 3-0, 2-0 all good to me!

Sorry Dav but Levein has always set up away from home in this defensive way, he did the same when we won at yours the last time and a wonder goal won it. He will try to get the Hobos frustrated and with our current form that will last about 15 mins and then we will have to chase an equaliser and get hit again. We are really in a poor state at the moment and I know they say form goes out the windows in Derbies but this may well be the exception to the rule

On present form, Hibs should win comfortably but any derby can go either way as passions on and off the pitch take over. Until we see who gets that bit of extra luck in the cauldron of a derby it is not an easy call to name the winner.
Longer the game goes at 0 : 0 the more it may come down to a set piece ..........an area Hearts are strong at.
Enjoy everyone and hope its a good advert for Edinburgh football and the fans keep their passions in check.

Thereβs no doubt that Levein will park the bus and try and nick a goal.

Craig Thomson to ref..............so that's our penalty area expanded by 2 yards Heβs gave us nothing since that day but hopefully he still hates Hibs enough to give us another penalty as itβs probably our only hope of scoring a goal.
