Same should happen here........unfair on Dundee United and the other leaders of the divisions but hey ho. ( prize money can be dished out according to present positions) As for Celtic I'm sure they can wait till next season for 9 in a row. Then continue the discussions on changing the Leagues set up to bring in , possibly, in a couple of seasons time. Not a normal outcome but these are not normal times. Not sure what u mean here, haven't Dundee United been told they are already the Champions? they have been promoted haven't they. What do u mean? The vote took place and the leagues were called.

I agree with NH. To my knowledge DU have been declared champions but not yet promoted although I accept it would be unfair on them if they weren't.

Let's be honest, the whole situation is akin to hosting a dinner party for a vegetarian, vegan, pescitarian, someone who only eats red meat and someone who only eats chicken... while only being allowed to serve one dish.
There is no real answer...

Anyone know what the threshold is to pass this? The article says 3 clubs need to ask for it in order for it to happen. So Sevco , Hearts and possibly Aberdeen would be enough

I agree with NH. To my knowledge DU have been declared champions but not yet promoted although I accept it would be unfair on them if they weren't. The SPFL subsequently confirmed the league winners will be promoted and Partick Thistle and Stranraer demoted. www.bbc.com/sport/football/52297066

Very saddened by all this, I know people that really are struggling financially during this crisis, maybe I am out of touch but I thought the players would have accepted this, but no, though I wonder how many are not willing to accept a wage cut. Has anyone said they are not? Fair point Drj but given this latest statement from AB it would appear to me some of the players are not keen, maybe I am wrong, daresay we will find out soon enough.

Leanne Dempster saying we should look at the possibility still of finishing this season, perhaps in July and August. At that stage, obviously, the games would be behind closed doors. hfc, sorry, I should have made things clearer and when I said "should have happened" I didn't mean it was going to happen with the SPFL. As has been said the SPFL have already said Dundee United are promoted so they cannot go back on their word..........can they?

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/52423767Talks about sport resuming in GB now. Imagine if the SPFL called the season far too early and Dundee Utd etc have to continue to play their games before being crowned champions. Crazy. At this rate, I would prefer to resume the season.

BBC’s Chris McLaughlin tweeting
Deloitte didn’t interview SPFL board members or individual clubs when investigating the vote process. No external evidence provided either. Still appears to be some appetite for wider investigation into entire episode.

No one even knew the investigation was going on.

Even if sport resumes Junior it would only be the premier. The lower leagues have been formally called and are over.

I thought only the National League lower divisions ( North and South) had been called drj? I thought Leagues 1, 2 and Championship were still hoping to re start? I for one am not surprised the SPFL investigation left more questions than answers!
