To be fair at the moment, this talk of players refusing pay cuts is all conjecture and press talk. Until the club officially announces that some players are refusing, then I'll reserve judgement, however, if it turns out to be true, I would expect the club to name the fuckers.

Many of them will have release clauses if we go down anyway.

Fecking hope so DRJ some of them wouldn't know the meaning of the word fight in the championship The other thing I should mention is that these clauses are rarely water tight. Just because it is in the contract doesn't always mean it is enforceable. My own view is that in these circumstances, this one would be ok but it is by no means certain.

Those players are all more than capable of having us top 4 but they simply haven't performed on anything remotely approaching a consistent level. Struggling with this DrJ, plenty teams can say they think they should be top four with squads but the advantage you go on about is only due to the budget you continually pay players so you underachieve. Since promotion back into the top flight only 2015/16 with 3rd place gave you that and Sevco plus ourselves missed that season. 2015/16 3rd 20/16/17 5th (no Hibs still) 2017/18 6th 2018/19 7th 20/19/20 suspended in 12th So yes budget wise maybe you should do better but actually you’re squad is no better than Aberdeen, Hibs, Motherwell etc in reality.

Just saw this on Twitter, Michael Smith's Instagram photo. Looks like they're not even training and they want full wages.

Our squad is no better than those of Hamilton, St Mirren, Ross County I don't agree with that EK. I think our squad is PLAYING no better than Hamilton StMirren or Ross Couunty. There is a difference.

While I get their point, it isn't just to benefit hearts, it's to ensure that NO team is relegated due to the decision to call the league. Yes, Hearts is one of them but also Partick and Stranraer. The point being, a temp change to avoid any club suffering due to the decision to call the leagues. Personally, I would rather a perm change but I can see the temp arguement as well.

Ok splitting hairs maybe but the fact of the matter is still the fact that we are bottom of the pile. Teams on paper dinnae win fuck all IMO.
