Judging by what I have read this week, football clubs, the players employer, are surely going to be seething at the number of positive tests recorded on International duty.
I wonder how many call off's will occur in the next round of fixtures.
Should International football be halted until this thing is gone?

I dont think so as long as players stay in the bubble and are tested before entering the bubble - I assume contact tracing is undertaken to learn lessons and improve safety for next time.

The entire under 21s are self isolating for 14 days as Billy Stark tested positive so none of them should be available till 22/10, the players a team clubs are NOT in bubbles , they may well be tested but they are all living at home ,in contact with people outside of their various clubs, they are not isolated away from everyone else.

And that ladies and gentlemen is where the system in place falls apart. The NHL had the Stanley Cup playoffs (just finished recently) over a two month period. All teams and officials and coaches etc were in a bubble for two months. Guess what? Not one positive Covid test. I think they were tested once or twice a day. I realize that would be impossible to do in Scotland for the SPFL though. How would the players be able to get to the pub and the chippie?
