I know some of you aren’t quite sophisticated for rigbh but I think I have just seen one the best performances by a Scotland team in any sport, guts, determination and skills on show.
England totally dismantled, the score should have been far wider with 75% possession.
Hopefully not another false dawn

I watched it and felt sure England would snatch a last gap try and punish us for not finishing the game off but naw, they didn't even get a sniff of a chance. Total domination from start to finish. I particularly enjoyed 80 minutes of no stupid English girly songs.
That wasn't England at their best (some players not match fit due to covid cancelling their club games) and all the other teams except Italy will provide sterner opposition. France will be favourites, Wales and Ireland will be difficult. I don't expect us to win them all.
Still, a Calcutta Cup win at Twickenham is always nice and the manner of the performance was particularly encouraging.

With Wales, Ireland and Italy at Murrayfield there should be a real chance to do well in this years championship but I will still await a typical Scotland glorious in defeat match

Agree, peak Scotland would be throwing away the game vs Italy to lose out on the championship.
Ireland have long been our bogie team, we just don't seem to belive we can beat them. France may well be a step too far.
We have seen false dawns before, but the way we played feels very different and a harder edge. Its a bit like watching Hearts!
