23 year old and the world’s highest paid footballer
Mbappe becomes the highest-paid player in world football, Sky Sports reported.
He will be on wages of around £1m a week after pocketing a signing-on fee in the region of £100m.
PSG have also made concessions on image rights, and Mbappe is in line to receive bonus payments for goals, Ballon d'Or honours and Champions League success.

I read on bbc it was 150 million euros signing on fee and 21 million per year wages - after tax. 3 year contract. I would imagine Real Madrid will now have to pay PSG to get the player instead of getting him for free. Real and Spanish FA both claiming the ba is burst with this one. I wonder how much Real were going to pay him? How much obscene salary is too much?

Its crazy.
interesting how La liga as whole go into bat for their teams though if they feel they are being pushed around or other teams are taking the piss. Cant really see the SPFL doing this, given they seem to actively encourage "big teams" to help themselves to the best young players from other teams.
