Is it just me that finds this really wrong? He is in talks with Stoke but a deal hasn’t been done, yet he misses the Sunderland game to watch the Stoke game? He is either manager of Sunderland or he isn’t and unt he isn’t he should do the job, seems completely disrespectful to the players and fans. It’s not as though it’s the man united job, it’s another championship team who are arguably not better than where he is so it’s not a good look. Managers complain about not being given time but it’s clearly a 2 way thing. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62700286

You can only imagine it is pretty much a done deal and that Sunderland aren't fussed if he goes but it certainly doesn't look good

It has to be a done deal, probably been offered more money and I read his wife’s family live in the Stoke area. Looks like the Sunderland fans want Sean Dyche to take over.

Just had a look at the Stoke squad, they have Ian Wrights grandson! Son of Shaun Wright Philips. Harry Clarke who was shite atHibs last season and some guy called Jakob Brown who apparently has 4 caps for Scotland but I have never heard the name!
They do have Harry Souttar, but the only other name I recognise is Jagielka who is old enough to be Craig Gordons dad!
Stoke are the epitome of an English clubs with loads of cash for no reason other than they are in England, they will never win anything and nobody really cares about them. A no mark clubs

Stoke are the epitome of an English clubs with loads of cash for no reason other than they are in England, they will never win anything and nobody really cares about them. A no mark clubs There are a lot of no-mark clubs in England dolf. Any other country and they'd be unknown outside their own town. Unfortunately the Sky revenue and the over-inflated self worth of the English leagues provides these clubs with the wherewithal to recruit players on salaries we could only dream of offering. The game is totally skewed and we will never be able to compete on an equal footing. They will always have the pick of the best players. No disrespect intended to Stoke per se, but if you're an aspiring young footballer and Hearts and Stoke are after you, are you going to be swayed by Hearts 5k a week, the prospect of European football, a top class city center stadium packed to the rafters each week in a top class city or are you going to Stoke for 20k a week playing in a soulless Britania stadium (which could be any one of dozens of soulless, flat pack stadiums in England) slogging away in the English championship in the desperate hope of reaching the holy grail which is the cash saturated Premier league, even tho' you're one of thousands with the same dream but the reality for the vast majority is a career trundling around the lower divisions playing tin-pot teams in tin-pot stadia in tin-pot towns? We all know where the youngster should go, but we also know where he will go.
