I was at that one. I've got a feeling we played them twice in the same week with similar scores but I might be wrong

I think my first Derby match was the Wayne Foster Cup Game. That was my first year back in Edinburgh in the Army and I don't think I ever went to a derby match when I was a kid. I just looked at the other matches that season and, although I remember 2-2 home and away games against Sevco, 2-2 against Celtic at Darkheid on Grand National day, a wonderful 2-0 away to Dundee on a Wednesday night in a bright yellow strip followed by a 1-0 away to Aberdeen on the following Saturday and getting fecking soaked v Athletico Madrid, I don't remember anything of the other Hibs games. I'm happy to have that game as my first Derby game tbh.

I remember that 2-2 game at Darkheid. We were 2 down if i remember rightly then JC scored just after half time.

First Derby? The Kenny Aird and John Stevenson 4-1 game at Tynecastle in 1973. First Derby after the infamous new years day game the previous season. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9pHxmPPrsA

I remember that 2-2 game at Darkheid. We were 2 down if i remember rightly then JC scored just after half time. I remember Stevie Frail scored a cracker into the postage stamp. Also remember Robbo's last minute penalty at Ibrokes, Hately scoring at Tynie and going 2-0 up against Madrid. But most of all I remember Super Wayne in the cup

Fairly certain that my first derby was around 2000 new years day when Fulton scored twice to put us 2-0 up but I think we drew 2-2. My dad my have taken me to one before that but I can't remember and he never remembers anything
