Potentially our most crucial game, don’t lose and we are in a strong position after 3 games, but you just know with Scotland not to get to far ahead of ourselves.
Hope Haaland is still hungover from the treble celebrations!

As Stevie Clarke says it’s not about one player it’s a team game. 😂😂

It was great to see that diving prick Haaland’s face tripping him at full time.

The boys bailed oot Portaloo there. Soft penalty but it was one. Kind of thing he got away with for years in Scotland though.

Great result, poor performance but who cares about that. Need to win Tuesday now.

Haaland should have had a penalty a few mins earlier v Hendry so maybe he thought he was entitled to throw himself to the floor the next time he got into the box. Applauded him for staying on his feet for the first incident, hate him for diving for the second incident. How did the ref not see the Hendry pull back tho - it went on for long enough?

The Hendry incident started outside the box and in both cases Haaland is as much the instigator as the defender, his physical size and presence helps him to outmuscle the defender and make it look like the defender doing most of the grabbing. For me neither were pens but the Porto one is obviously in the box and Haaland makes a meal of it, had the ref not awarded a pen VAR wouldn’t have overturned it in my opinion, but the ref was given a decision to make.

This highlights the reason players dive. It forces the referee to make a decision. Have you ever seen a penalty given for something other than handball when someone stays on their feet? It's incredibly rare and means referees are ruling on consequence, not the action itself.

I get what you’re saying but surely the refs need to be better at checking with var, or everyone will start using a brute up front to jostle for the ball and who goes down with minimal contact. Now it’s also the same with defenders when in trouble look for an easy option to go down to buy a FK, this and the pen is what frustrates fans more than most as getting consistency in decision making is almost impossible.
