I hate to say it about anybody, but Forrest is a waste of a jersey. He brings virtually nothing to the team.

Ha, well I'm not getting on a soapbox about Forrest but I think he's been improving and certainly not hiding. I know Lowry scored but I'd be playing Forrest ahead of Lowry and McKay (if he was fit) - especially on shitty pitches in shitty weather. Oh well, people see things differently.

That stand last night was bouncing, thats the first time I've experienced that at a Hearts game. The young team may have started with a protest but they literally sang for the entire 94 minutes. Fantastic atmosphere. Grant was superb and never stopped working I like him but I wish he would lose his impulse for a daft tackle. Starting to see the value of the Hoff and he will only get better.
All in, a good night in the rain.

I thought Forrest was hopeless. Opinions eh I'm not a fan of Forrest and certainly not as a starter but he never stops trying and is not bad as an impact sub.i think he would probably be better of at a smaller club though

I thought Forrest was hopeless. Opinions eh To be fair to him I thought he worked really hard. Looked like he was playing without studs as he was slipping all over the place and he was far too easily knocked off the ball.

I agree Grant and the Hoff were our best players last night.

Looked like he was playing without studs as he was slipping all over the place and he was far too easily knocked off the ball. A lot of players were slipping badly last night, especially in the first 15 mins - a disaster was surely waiting to happen (I was waiting for something like CG standing on the ball last year) but luckily no disasters and no injuries. I wonder if the players have different types of boots/studs for these pitches/conditions? I assume they must have at least 2 pairs on match days? I recall years ago (early 80s) at Ibrox when the pitch was frozen and Sevco players were slipping all over the place and Hearts played rings round them because we had the correct studs in but nowadays boots are all moulded so they can't simply change the studs... That pitch should NOT be used for top level football and it's a fecking disgrace that teams can be allowed to get away with it. A hybrid pitch costs 1 Million so make them get a hybrid pitch. I wonder why the clubs don't complain about it - I certainly would be raging if I had to make selection decisions based on likelihood of injury due to the pitch. Mibbes after they make peace with Naisy, the young Hearts can hold up banners complaining about the shitty pitches?

The pitch definitely gives them an advantage as they’ve beat Sevco and Celtic already this season.

It was an excellent result last night considering Gordon Atkinson Halkett McKay Cochrane Tagawa and Oda are out injured and Beni and Boyce are still trying to get up to speed after serious injury.

Hope it’s Hibs tbh. Hibs v Hearts at Hampden mmmm, let me think about that one Right now i'd take it MTS, no problem. I'm more worried about St Midden right now. Before tonight i'd say we have a great chance of beating the Tarts ANYWHERE! ..Now after tonight, well, we'll see how it goes. We are due to meet of course in 10 days or so and it's at Tynie so time will tell as to whose the better team. Think it's a toss-up quite frankly and i wouldn't have said that a month ago.
