Hibs name is on the Cup, BELIEVE, BELIEVE!. Not when Sevco are getting goals like their 1st one tonight. Corrupt SFA, Collum and Walsh team

Yeah i just seen that, a clear push. They had VAR tonight, the other matches didn't. Strange.

I just looked at the twitter video and can see that Collum was maybe unsighted but what did he think the Livi player did - dive? BBC says it was 'controversial'. I assume the Livi players were up in arms asking for a review and didn't just meekly accept the decision - and if that's the case, surely he must have thought something MIGHT have been amiss and asked for a review even if VAR didn't ask him to review it (not sure what the rules are regarding this - can he only change a decision if the VAR ref asks him to review?). BBC Report: Abdallah Sima capitalised on a positive start, producing a wonderful angled finish after appearing to push Jamie Brandon to initially gain possession. It was controversial but referee Willie Collum was not summoned to check the screen after opting to wave play on.

At first viewing I thought Collum got it right but when you watch replays it's a clear push. VAR in my opinion should pick that up. My only concern is this clear and obvious mistake rule. What are the parameters for MISTAKE? I don't think Collum made a mistake because of his angle and what he saw. Clearly the decision was wrong but was it a mistake? I'm just trying to be objective

VAR gets involved and the goal is chalked off with yhe foul awarded and the Livi player booked.

Clearly and obviously, the ref and his assistants missed the push which led to the goal and that was an error. But they surely didn't miss the complaint from the defender before deciding to ignore it - did Collum ask the VAR guy if there was anything amiss?
I see Liverpool are asking for the recording if the ref's conversation for their disallowed goal at Spurs on saturday - Livi should do the same if thete's no explanation forthcoming from Collum although, like on Daturday, their request would be ignored.
