3 Judges at the Edinburgh Sheriff Appeal Court rules that “Hun” is a sectarian slur.
David Di Pinto was convicted of a breach of the peace aggravated by religious prejudice at the Scottish League Cup Final between Celtic and Hibs at Hampden Park in December 2021.
His trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court heard he shouted and swore, flailed his arms and called two officers "hun c***s".
He was fined £500 and made the subject of a football banning order for 12 months.
However, Di Pinto, 39, of Renfrew, challenged the religious aggravation element of his conviction at the Sheriff Appeal Court in Edinburgh.
To cut a long story short :-
According to the ruling of these three judges , a Hun is a sectarian slur for a Sevco supporter , and because they are generally PERCEIVED to be a Protestant club , then the term should be treated as a slur on Protestants

Hmm the only sectarianism I see here is the fact 3 judges called Sevco mainly a Protestant club, and proving that Sevco are the Establishment team!

On top of that MTS, how the hell did the guy get found guilty?
Your honours can you get me the Oxford English Dictionary and tell me where it says Hun is Sectarian?
Case closed nothing to answer for.
Obviously the defence didn’t have a great lawyer, but not great to verbally shout it towards the Police officers.
