Looks like he’s losing the dressing room according to STV’s Jamie Borthwick on WhatsApp messages which have now been deleted. Players not happy with his methods.

I genuinely dont know if I want him to stay or go. Its not really working currently, but I also dont think chopping and changing managers is the right thing either.
We probably still have too big a squad to keep everyone happy, in midfield and forward areas we dont seem to know who our first choices are.
Whether it is true or not, the comments do reflect what we are seeing on the pitch, it does look like we have very little structure and dont have a gameplan. Which isnt helped by not playing a settled midfield. The 3 up top is good for putting pressure on teams, but it does encrouage us just to go back to front too often.

I'd say I'm shocked but honestly, Scottish football is shite and has been for a long time. I would honestly prefer a manager who's had no experience of Scottish football whatsoever cause it's just filled with dinosaur attitudes. The game is leaving us behind, any young player with any ambition needs to get out when they can.
I've stopped caring about hearts results as nothing changes. An endless cycle of mediocrity.

I've never been impressed by Naismith as a head coach although we did start going forward more late last season. Like dolf though I question whether punting him this early is necessarily a good thing. Reason? I don't trust the board to source and tie down a quality replacement.

We’re still paying Neilson and McCulloch every month so it would be a big hit financially if we also got rid of Naismith, McAvoy and Forrest. Like you Dedrock I don’t trust the board to bring in the best candidate as I’m sure they’ll look at the cheap option. Allegedly Lancefield and McAvoy are friends of Savage, McKinlay is the Husband of Budge’s lawyer. You could go on and on about friends and family being employed by our club. I also heard yesterday that the FOH have no accountability on the fans monthly donations. Surely that’s not true.

Clearly the amount we have to pay them all as well as RN and his team will be an issue but I think we have to realise that we have reached a point we’re we are stagnating and have to move on, in a season we’re we had the chance of the best possible start before the hobos and old scum games, we now start the next batch of games worried that we will slide further down , really worrying. The players are not producing either not understanding what is required or Naisy is not getting his message across. Too many changes every week, too many players playing out of position, a concerning lack of fitness and injuries after injuries, wouldn’t be surprised to see Lowry and his concussion out for weeks, not that he has produced weak in week out. So something has to give , the board can’t continue to hope that the return of Gordon, Halkett, McKay , Atkinson etc will change things , could be weeks before they are up to speed. So what do we do , bin the lot , wait till Jan and do a Romanov and bring in 10 new players, fecked if I know🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

A guy on JKB was at an event at Tynecastle last night and posted this about McKinlay.
“ Haven’t posted on this thread as I thought it was a bit harsh on McKinlay. However, I’m at an event at Tynecastle tonight, the guys finished. The way he talks about the men’s team is so flippant he has to go. We deserve better”
“ Asked about how the club is performing. Starts off by saying the B team are 3rd in the league, then rattles through all the teams until he gets to the men’s team. Made comments about how winnlng football matches isn’t everything. Really unimpressed with him. His tone was flippant”
I just remembered another thing he said which I think was off: 1. We would have beaten Hibs if it wasn’t for 87 seconds of brain farts from the defenders. 2. We would have beaten Sevco had it not been for Peter Haring stupidly tugging the shirt of the Sevco player.
