Tbh, our squad has too many ageing and injured players. Every signing we are linked with is a stop gap at best and no doubt there will be another overhaul

When players come to us they often get injured within weeks and spend a lot of their contract out and on the treatment table ffs. Wishing I had an answer but…..

Every signing we are linked with is a stop gap at best and no doubt there will be another overhaul Definitely going will be Halliday and Haring (not been offered new contract) Sibbick, Grant are just squad players and to be fair they’re not good enough so I think they will probably leave in the summer. Beni has refused a new deal and will also leave. Lowry will return to Sevco, Forest and Boyce are out of contract so they may leave too. Shankland will leave in January or the summer. Vargas is on loan and Tagawa is not happy he’s not playing. Could be a massive clear out in the summer again.

How many years are we going to have a massive clear out and recruitment, too any changes every season, too many loan signings , again we have to make more signings to cover replacing them, recruitment needs to be better

I was optimistic when we had our new dof in place and I'm hoping it's just a window lag but I'm suspicious we are going to be in the same boat every year where overhaul is needed.

Still nothing coming through from the B team which is worrying as we are doing well in the league (2nd)
Mackenzie Kirk has scored 34 goals in 39 appearances for the B team but Naismith has said last week he’s not ready for the first team.

Boyce signs an extension until 2025 I am in the camp of “he needed to go”. Can’t believe he has been signed for another year. Maybe on reduced terms?

Beni fit and on form is one I would like to stay but that's pretty much it. Would be very happy to see Naisy and the team perform miracles and Gordon and Halkett being magnificent on return, but I just can't see it happening - more loanees in Jan to eke out results in second half of season is very likely. I like Kingsley and Kent and admire the endeavour of the Aussies. Cochrane can be useful as long as he's not LB. The rest of the squad gives me the fear. Is Kent a loanee? Fact is we need a complete rebuild just for league survival (sigh) and where to start? It would not surprise me to see a new management team, a new style, and a dozen new faces for next season. I expect it, tbh.

£1million plus for Meikerson , puts Shanksy value up at £8 million if that is what teams will pay for a guy who couldn’t get a game for the Hobos

Naismith tells the EEN that he doesn’t expect much changes to the squad in January.

Three of the youngsters in contract talks to extend, alongside Halkett, Gordon and Beni and wait for it Alan Forrest 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Happy with Craig Gordon and hopefully he can help with coaching. Beni looks like a player that doesn’t want to be injured and I don’t think he will sign. Halkett is coming back from serious injury and looks worryingly slow. Forrest is squad player and has done nothing that would earn him a new deal.

Boyce signs an extension until 2025 I am in the camp of “he needed to go”. Can’t believe he has been signed for another year. Maybe on reduced terms? I don't necessarily agree Bobby. We look like a more cohesive unit when he's playing. When he's out there's little or no link up between the midfield and the front men (man?)

When he's out there's little or no link up between the midfield and the front men (man?) I know a lot of folk likes what he brings in spite of the fact he absolutely dithers on the ball far too much anywhere around the 18 yard box and invariably gets shut down when a better player would have got a shot away. That is where my frustration lies with him. Too slow of thought and action for me dedrok. 🤷♂️ The shot he hit the other week that went in off Shankland (from about 5-6 yards) , thank God it did hit Shankland because it was another typical mishit sclaf that to me ( could be wrong) looked like it was going wide until it pinged off Shanks.
