Saw this on X (Twitter)
It came to light last week that FC Twente made a €6m profit from beer sales in their accounts. It’s past time for Scottish football’s classist alcohol in stadiums ban to be re-examined.
I’ve got to agree with this guy. Remind me again why the SFA / SPFL have banned drinking in the stadium concourse. Everybody is tanked up anyway when they arrive so why not give the clubs the profit.

Just googled it.
Alcohol has been banned from any parts of Scottish football grounds since unrest at the 1980 Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Sevco, excluding corporate hospitality areas.
Everybody suffers because of the arse cheeks FFS. Surely the SFA / SPFL should have a 21st Century meeting to discuss this as it happened 43 years ago.

Unfortunately if they approved it this week and the Arses played against each other next week, they would rescind it the week after! Do you honestly think those two supports could behave at the same venue with booze flowing freely? Aye. Thought not! Always the way that 99% get punished because 1% were raised by animals and are uncivilized.

Absolutely not. There is scant evidence football fans in Scotland could or would do this responsibly, regardless of the old firm.
