Wednesday 7th February @ 19:45
I noticed an Australian player was back and playing for Middlesbrough today so I expect Atkinson and Rowles to be back and available for selection.
Another hard away game for us but were playing well and the confidence will be high.

Hope the Aussies are back and continue their form unlike the huge dip when they came back from the World Cup mid season🤦‍♂️don’t expect many changes perhaps Fraser to start and if fit Kingsley or Halkett to come back in. CL will be all out to stop the run , parking the bus and trying to catch us on the break, here’s hoping for a better first half

We'll have few sights of goal so its important to move the ball well and hit the target whenever there's a chance. These slow starts having two-thirds of possession then giving the ball away in our own end must be stopped or three potential points will vanish. This is unlikely to be a high scorer so we need to take any chances we get.

Not sure if Naismith will rest the Aussies for this one.

Very solid show without that many chances, Shanks quality finish and some brilliant skills on show from him. Forrest another good show, Kent and Kingsley excellent , Fraser show glimpses of what he can do, Beni caught a couple of times but on the whole solid show. St Farmers set up as I thought big fella up front was a handful but Zander didn’t have much to do. 3 points and the run goes on , let’s not slip up on Sunday, keep the foot to the floor.

Agree, it does highlight how reliant we are on him, but thats not a problem for now.
Its inevitable he goes in the summer, if he finishes the season with 30+ goals and scores a couple at the Euros he should bring in a few extra quid!
We then need to worry about how we replace him, only took 25 years that last time.....

It was a good performance considering Levein’s usual tactics of getting 10 men behind the ball and having a big target man doing his best to ragdoll our defenders. I thought Frankie Kent was outstanding. Shanks MOTM.
