Just saw this tweet from Banderson
Rule change in football: Blue cards to be introduced next season (as per @telefootball). Players will be given a blue card and sent to a sin-bin for 10 minutes if they commit a cynical foul or show dissent.

We can’t get consistency with handball, var , old scum bias what is adding another debatable rule going to achieve, if you get the usual four or five people round the “ref” at a penalty decision isn’t this dissent and they all go for 10mins in the bin , Ridiculous idea

I note this has been trialled in the lower leagues/levels for 6 years or so and is generally seen as a positive move although not yet ready for implementation in the major leagues. Hopefully by the time it is ready for major leagues the players sill have been brought up in that culture.

Shit idea from start to finish. Can't get VAR right but want to introduce something else that will be open to interpretation. Surely they can see how contentious this will be?
Snacks of idiots have a great boardroom meeting detached from reality.

Thats it - the games phuqued. Its not even 1st April. Its a mad idea to start with but of course in Scotland it'll just be another tool to assist 2 teams inconveniencing everyone else.
