Changes again, hope we can keep the positives going, a tie fraught with danger, horrible surface, tight pitch, we have to be on our game just like Airdrie

Down to Edgar Street for 2 important home games in 4 days. Good luck against Morton and although I see your fears I feel you will have too much for them. I've watched them a couple of times this season on the Friday night football and don't think their defense will cope very well with Shanklands finishing. ( there aren't many SPL teams to be fair who can do that either.)
Hampden awaits!.......again.

Kent and Niewenhof out till the end of the month. Two players who, along with Shanks, would be 'first names on the teamsheet'. Hope they recover fully for the run in.

No excuses if we fail tbh, meanwhile, for Hereford, I'm not sure I would call this a 'plot'... but a good plan? www.bbc.com/news/articles/c6p49y0vlywo

Aye K19, will be good to get something back open at the Blackfriars end which has been left since Hereford United were wound up in 2014. Much better for away fans to be housed there as they were before rather than in the corner of the Len Weston as they are at present. ........anyway back to Hearts v Morton ....

Pundits last night suggesting Morton will be a very difficult place to go and they will be well up for it. I hope we don't come a cropper...

Playing on a ploughed field, Dougie Imrie will have them fired up and we’ll have to win our physical battles. I expect them to play long balls into our box and they have a long throw expert. I would have preferred them at Tynecastle but I expect to win this game.

TBH I thought that I wouldn't be too upset if we get k-o'd. Of course I'd be furious with them if they lost the game but in the wider scheme of things the chance of beating both of the Uglies at Hampden is remote to say the least. No doubt they'll get the bulk of the tickets too. Then I remembered that if we're in the final (unless its v Aberdeen. snigger) 3rd place in the league guarantees group stage Euro football again. Really just hoping for a good performance but I don't think the players have trained on any ploughed fields recently.

3rd place is all but sown up, surely?
So we shoudl be able to do both now. Even if we do get knocked out by one of the uglies we get a day out and a few quid in the bank. Bear in mind one of the balls will have been in the fridge to try and avoid an ugly cup final scene so if we do get through its 70/30 that we get Aberdeen!
Will be the usual blood and snotters tonight though, just need to get through it. Perfect game for Cammy Devlin!
