Not so sure about the draw scenario dav. Austria, Slovakia are already on 3 points so would be ahead of Scotland. 1 other team is on 2 just now. Slovenia with -1 GD, Scotland are -4 and a draw would keep us on that. Other 2 point team scenarios would be Croatia drawing with Italy, Albania drawing with Spain, Serbia drawing with Denmark, Czechs drawing with Turkey and Georgia drawing with Portugal, Then worse news is that all 4 teams in group E already have 3 points (Romania, Belgium, Ukraine and Slovakia) so 1 of those teams will finish 3rd and again above Scotland if we draw. I'm not saying it can't happen just all the stars would have to align.

Zero shots or corners until last 10 mins when the plan changed to "throw on every attacker and hope for a shot". Tactics were shockingly negative in every game, Adams is a complete waste of a jersey although I'm not sort of glad it wasn't Shanks being hung out to dry in that shit team.

Classic Scotland. At least we now have concrete evidence of how pish we are.
I'd like to think we'd have a serious think about the standard of our national team but I'm well prepared for us to do diddly squat.

Disappointed weβre out but itβs been a painful watch. We shouldβve had a penalty but I think Armstrong could have been offside.
Anyway Clarke out and Davy Moyes in π

If Scotland fails to win any of its Nations league group A games (highly possible), we will have won just one of our last 18 games (2-0 v Gibraltar in a friendly). How can we justify keeping a manager with that sort of record?

We could have taken up to 6 points from those last two games. We scraped one. Clarke's excellent record as a manager (up to the end of 2023 at least) will now be forgotten because of his negative tactics and loyalty to players who have consistently let us down in the past. The Scottish Manager's Template.

We got what our play deserved (just) which was 1 point. Anything more would have been unjust. We (Scotland) are not at the races where these tournaments are concerned. It's never been so easy to qualify for these events, World Cups too. Greed/money has meant there are more teams getting in than ever before AND MORE WAYS OF QUALIFYING and we still make everything look like pulling teeth.

Expectations were very low of course but the tactics were dire right from the first minute of game 1. A shambles and the manager must be held accountable for squad selection, team selection, substitutions and above all tactics. He needs booted, immediately.

Tactics were dire, I get the whole staying in the game thing, but jeez you have to come our of the your hole at some point.
Hungary knew we had very little to theaten them and let us have the ball. The squad on the whole were decent enough, but we lacked any sort of imagination. We needed to get someone who could play a killer pass, but what we relaly lacked was someone to dribble at players, we had no-one who could do that. Forrest should have got on, and in hindsight someone like Gauld woudl have been really useful, in a squad of 20 odd players there is room for someone a bit different. When i came the change the midfield it was more of the same.
Adams is a decent player on the break, quick and chases balls over the top, it was pretty obvious in the last 2 games at least that wasn't what was needed. Shankland did change the game when he came on, held the ball up better and played some nice passes in threatening positions, the problem was we were chasing the game by then and had thrown caution to the wind. It needed that from half time. Why wait until we are desperate before giving him a chance?
Another wasted opportunity in what was a pretty easy group by comparison
