Just watching the ESPN Press Pass programe and apparently once this uefa financial fair play stuff kicks in there's only one club that's (way) ahead of the game big time and thats our Bavarian friends..perhaps it's not such a random call for Guardiola to go there instead of Chelsea...is this the seismic shift starting against the EPL?

That's very interesting maroon, if somewhat surprising. Bayern seem to be more of a buying club than a development set-up, which would be likely to inflate wages too especially as of late when they have recruited from other Bundesliga clubs and the likes of Real Madrid.
Thinking this through they do have a massive set-up with hundreds of youngsters from about 10 years old upwards which not only increases turnover but the scale of which probably allows them to sell off players who are not quite the very best standards for substantial development fees.
Well worth watching developments here.

My original post was made nearly 2 years ago Rok (aye we've been planning this for that long) but I still can see why Pep went to the Bundesliga and not the EPL, the German model is all about sustainability and growth, while the EPL is dependant on the tv money and little else. Interesting to see what will happen when they hit the ceiling with that

Yes its a developing situation as UEFA keep tinkering with the rules in an SPFL stylee. Many more big name clubs will fall foul of the regulations like Man C this season. UEFAs plans were to get spending down but I think they expected that once the rule was introduced then all clubs would remain in line forever. Already this is a false hope for them.
