Not really sure this will be well attended, yes different leagues but as the season will be starting not sure a derby friendly is a great idea plus we will have that shitty petrofact cup starting in July as well! A proper pre season to give full priority to winning the Championship is a must, plus we want to hold bragging rights as long as possible

I'm not sure about this as I prefer an Edinburgh derby to be full on and the Festival Cup will just be like a friendly.

I agree MTS....prefer it to be full on with 100% given and taken. Hibs won the last proper derby so keep that going as long as possible GGTTH

Hibs have never won the Festival Cup tho . I'd rather play a meaningless Derby v Hibs than a meaningless friendly against some unknown foreign team in an English village. I don't see why we couldn't attract a decent English team or a Dutch team to raise money for signing one of their players for example...

Problem comes with the fact we need to pony up with the accommodation costs and sometimes an appearance fee for "big clubs" I'd be happy with Hibs and Berwick Sevco (that'll say Sevco))

Can't be too hard to get some billionaire English team like Newcastle up for the day?
