Biggest downside for me would be no New Years day game but to be fair the Police and SFA/SPFL have negated that over the years anyway...

I'm split on this. There is no doubt that I prefer going to see games where I am not freezing my nuts off or watching through grey drizzle but there are other summer attractions like going on holiday and competing with other summer sports ( not such a biggie in Scotland)and just other general family related activities. I'm not convinced attendances would go up and if they did certainly not by much.

Do we really still do "big holidays" in the summer? I'm not so sure.. as for competing with other summer sports!!! what would they be? Watching Wimbledon? watching the Open? Test match at Lords ? Royal Ascot?...........none of those would stop me going to a league game at Tynecastle......and I could leave my coat at home!!!!! looking more and more like a no brainer for me

The question is bigger than you and me maroon or people like us. Its about would it attract punters who are NOT already going and also those who are walk up fans. Diehards will go no matter when the games are played.

To be fair right now we would struggle to find room for any more fans, but looking at the whole of Scottish football I think we would attract folk through turnstiles if the sun was shining

To be honest I'm not convinced either way so I would prob vote for status quo until I was convinced that the change was right because I don't think you could change back

It's a no brainer, bring back alcohol to grounds, enjoy a beer in the sun, watch the game, more evening games even better. Yep more people will show up. Who the hell wants to trudge out to a league cup game against some second div club in the sleet? I was at the game they took the picture from in the Hootsman. We played Motherwell Dec 30th Mikey S goal sealed it. The weather was atrocious and the ground half full. Bambi was the best player on show. Nah has to change to summer.

I'd go for it, we're competing with the Spanish and English league for tv time and getting badly beaten on the return of money in comparison, you would have the commonwealth games on at the same time as the Olympics would you so we need to target a new time where the higher watched leagues are not, either that or they go out with the wife
Better pitches, better weather, better fit baw, I hope
