Well, the first of two big derbies in a short period of time is upon us. Hearts haven't lost in six and look like a totally different side than when the last derby was played. I'll go for a 2-0 Hearts win. We are solid at the back. Formation predictions? I'll go for the following:
McLaughlinRandall-Souttar-Berra-SmithBuaben-Cowie-Callachan*Milinkovic-Lafferty-Isma
*Djoum if fit Over to you.

Derbys can go either way, play like we did last week and we will win. This game does make me nervous.

Derbys can go either way, play like we did last week and we will win. This game does make me nervous. In recent derbies, Hibs have played with high tempo, aggression and passion. They will come at us. This is good as it means we can shut them down and dismantle them like we did to Celtic.

This game really could go either way. We haven't been great in derbies recently. The team that puts it together on the night will win. I'm with JT51, a 2.0 win for me. Although in a rare moment of honesty. I would take a 1.0 scruffy nothing of a game where an offside goal went in off the refs head. Just to get the monkey off our back. Then destroy them in the cup.

UPDATE: HIBS NOW BOOKIES FAVOURITES.... 29/20
Herties now 9/5
Now of course this will mean very little come Wednesday, unless anyone has a extremely large bet on!
AND IT COMES UP!

We are almost 2/1 to win a game at home? I will have some of that and I dont usually gamble.

No Dioum Callachan,Cochrane and Moore for Weds feck Doesn't matter. We will play, I suspect, with Walker in place of Cochrane. Cowie and Buaben will start also. Hopefully Buaben isn't terrible.

Gotta be honest, I think this could be pretty dull stuff. I can't see Hertz giving too much away and I can't see Lennie being too attacking in the sense that he may put Bartley, McGinn in midfield and maybe even a back 3 to stifle anything Hertz may have to offer.

Let's hope it's a better show from the Hearts than the last few efforts

Given the confirmation of who is missing from midfield, I will guess this will be the team: McLaughlin Randall-Souttar-Berra-Smith Buaben-Cowie-McDonald Milinkovic-Walker Lafferty

I've never seen less banter pre derby. I think that we are a little nervous given our recent derby record. I would take any win for whater reason just to get this monkey off our backs. It wouldnt surprise me if it went goal less
