Hickey, Whelan, Smith all solid and reassuring. Berra hopefully managing all this although sad to say he's gone from being half a yard ahead to half a yard short since his injury. Great for Uche to score a muscle goal without being penalized. Obviously great for young Hickey - have a veggie burger on us - but my MoM was Whelan, just edging Hickey and Smith. Jury is still out on the keeper - I'm not confident, tbh. New jap guy did feck all but early days..
Biggest bonus for me was the substitution of Sean Clare - waste of a fecking jersey. I'd genuinely rather have Malaury Martin than this guy (Martin was at the very least, good on corners).

Just thought I'd rattle in the winner and also give them a wee reminder what happened in the cup final 🇱🇻🇱🇻

The first half was a big yawn but I thought we shaded it, I didn’t think they troubled us in the 2nd half even after Mallan’s wonder strike but credit to the players for battling their way back into the game, Uche’s strength getting the equaliser and Hickey with a brilliant winner. Only negative for me was the performance of Sean Clare and we looked a better side when he was subbed. Hopefully the players will be full of confidence for Wednesday. I really do think Sean Claire gets a raw deal. Yes he makes mistakes but he never hides. Others do, and he takes the can for their hiding.

I actually thought, the superb goal aside Hickey that was far from stellar. He gets excused a lot because of his age. Today he was weak in the tackle and easily beaten at times. Tbe goal of course was superb and I hope it adds to the kids confidence. He has an an exciting future ahead, Whelan is just a class act and was MoM by a mile

Funny how we see things so differently. I thought Hickey struggled a wee bit at times but that one sequence where he absolutely worked his ass of to get from the wrong side to the right side of Horgan was superb. Then Horgan gets pissed off at the laddie and hacks him down for a booking. Also I barely heard Whelan’s name mentions apart from the stupid booking he took.

I watched the whole game but rarely saw Whelan but perhaps I wasn't concentrating on it enough?

Nor his potential but for me if your good enough you are old enough. At times forwards go by him like he isn't there. I'm not critical of him , it's all in the learning curve BuT be is a long way from the finished product,

Whelan was the best player on the park today. Skooshed it. I don't want to be too harsh on any Hearts player and, apart from a career-ending decision to let the ball roll under his foot v Motherwell, I try to be as supportive as I can but FFS, don't tell me Clare is a valuable player for us. He's not and never will be. Smith is a valuable player for us. Halkett will be a valuable player for us. Naismith when fit is invaluable to us. Clare shouldn't be near the first team.

Went much as I thought with a Hearts win. Our biggest mistake was to score! With that, Hearts had to come out and press us more to find the equaliser .......this and Leveins substitutions led to us to show our true colours under pressure and crumble. Anyway every cloud and perhaps we will see some action in the boardroom soon. Felt sorry for Porteous who was fantastic for us and considering he is fresh back from knee surgery, threw his body on the line time and time again. His well timed aggressive challenge led to him winning the ball to give to Mallan from which he scored. Unfortunately he was just slightly late getting to Hicky and only got enough of a touch to cause the ball to loop over Maxwell for the JTs winner. However did you see the space the young man had as he came towards the area with none of our players near him. I'm not looking forward to playing a side who press all the time and have skill and pace.........erm.....like Celtic next week. GGTTH

Spot on 2 teams shitting it then a Mallan wonder strike allows Hearts to go for it and the changes Levein made won him the game. Where does Hecky go from here, hopefully his p45. Barely any positives for us, Killie in the cup then Celtic and Aberdeen, surely he won’t survive that run.

Absolutely no disrespect intended with this post but why was there a minutes silence for a former Sevco player before the game? I can understand it if Sevco were playing. Especially when there was nothing for Rab Prentice. Just wondering.

I, like many was really pleased when we signed Clare and thought we had a right good player- wrong, he's a dud. The minute he left the pitch today, our team was transformed. Says it all for me

I find it weird that a former Hearts player wasn't given a minute's silence. Surely it wasn't because of fear that Hibs fans would boo? Surely they wouldn't?
