I, like many was really pleased when we signed Clare and thought we had a right good player- wrong, he's a dud. The minute he left the pitch today, our team was transformed. Says it all for me I think he may be dropped for Wednesday night!

So as long as keep the ball in midfield we can actually play some decent football. All goes to shit if it's in the final third or our own box i.e. pressure situations.
I'm going to despair at the cliche comments of 'This will kickstart our season' you know, the one that started 6 games ago?
As an aside, can someone tell me the percentage of crosses that actually went to hearts players head today? Everything about our attack was woeful.
Meshino is far too good for this team. He can actually pass without taking upteem touches first.
Anyway, that's my tuppence worth!

It was a crucial win for Hearts not just for the sake of CL but for the confidence of the players and the fans.

Absolutely no disrespect intended with this post but why was there a minutes silence for a former Sevco player before the game? I can understand it if Sevco were playing. Especially when there was nothing for Rab Prentice. Just wondering. I missed the kick off. Was the silence observed?

Funny how we see things so differently. I thought Hickey struggled a wee bit at times but that one sequence where he absolutely worked his ass of to get from the wrong side to the right side of Horgan was superb. Then Horgan gets pissed off at the laddie and hacks him down for a booking. Also I barely heard Whelan’s name mentions apart from the stupid booking he took. I dont question his work rate Bobby. Nor his potential but for me if your good enough you are old enough. At times forwards go by him like he isn't there. I'm not critical of him , it's all in the learning curve BuT be is a long way from the finished product, Very good DRJ , it true of a lot of youngsters at Hearts they get a lot more of the benefit of doubt because they are young and in most cases Scottish, but have to disagree on Clare he has had lots of chances but has never once produced a total game performance

Haha. I clocked that at the time, and was impressed by his professionalism. Just as well he did that while in front of the Hearts fans!

It never ceases to amaze me that 1 win has such an effect on Players, Managers, and Fans alike. An intriguing game at ER yesterday I thought. I actually quite enjoyed it in a strange way. Watching 2 teams struggle and 2 managers "kecking" it, is quite a sight to behold. The winning goal (not sure it was gonna be on target or beat Maxwell before the deflection but it doesn't matter, it went in anyway) was typical of Hibs season so far. Farcical defending and in this game a wasted chance at 1-0 to go 2-0 up when Hallberg could have put the game to bed and regardless of how Hibs season has been so far, there's no way Hertz were getting back into it from there. Both teams looked short of belief and although the Tarts took the points they didn't exactly give the impression great things are just around the corner. 1 league win in 13 tells u that! So from a Hibs perspective, Killie on Wednesday is Hecky's biggest game of the season. There might not be another one after this.
OH, AND. Amazing celebrations after the game......just saying! great to be off the foot of the table isn't it?

I think Hearts might have a minute"s silence for Rab Prentice at their next Home game. Hope so, anyway.
