Irrespective of what unfolds for Levein this was a very important win for Hearts, it was much needed and I hope we can kick on from here, still think in the long term CL should move on, but with important players hopefully coming back soon who knows!!

You know what grates me? My new found sense of optimism after yesterday. It was only 1 game!!
I fear that levein will do just enough to not get sacked. And we'll scrape into the top six playing turgid football till the end of the season and then down tools all over again and be in the exact same position 1 year later.

It never ceases to amaze me that 1 win has such an effect on Players, Managers, and Fans alike. An intriguing game at ER yesterday I thought. I actually quite enjoyed it in a strange way. Watching 2 teams struggle and 2 managers "kecking" it, is quite a sight to behold. The winning goal (not sure it was gonna be on target or beat Maxwell before the deflection but it doesn't matter, it went in anyway) was typical of Hibs season so far. Farcical defending and in this game a wasted chance at 1-0 to go 2-0 up when Hallberg could have put the game to bed and regardless of how Hibs season has been so far, there's no way Hertz were getting back into it from there. Both teams looked short of belief and although the Tarts took the points they didn't exactly give the impression great things are just around the corner. 1 league win in 13 tells u that! So from a Hibs perspective, Killie on Wednesday is Hecky's biggest game of the season. There might not be another one after this.
OH, AND. Amazing celebrations after the game......just saying! great to be off the foot of the table isn't it?

The Hibs Fans Display "Where is the player that would not dare to fight for Hibernian?" What does it all mean

It makes no sense what so ever. Wrong tense for starters, and it seems to indicate they want players who WON'T fight for the team. Football fans like these, make fools of not just themselves but the rest of us who also get tarred with the same brush. I'm not sure if our fans have displayed something that nonsensical and I'm prepared to bet that most sensible Hibees cringed when they read it. Motherwell fans displayed something similar last season.
It just makes it easy for those who think all football fans are ignoramouses to have a smirk to themselves.
By all means put up witty banners but for gods sake get them right.
