I work in a hotel and have been a wee bit concerned as most people I work with really don't seem to be bothered. They think the media is trying to scare people. Me and my eldest are asthmatic and are washing our hands so much theyr like sand paper. I also purchased some masks In case there is an outbreak in Edinburgh. Better to be safe. Also don't want to miss my Easter break quarantined in my house. Imagine 2 weeks stuck in the house with 2 kids, dog and husband? I would crack up.

I was off work for nearly two years due to lung issues. I went through so many tests I cannot remember the total number. The ONLY thing they found was I had been exposed to Corona virus. My problems started out with the worst cold imaginable and progressed wuickly into pneumonia. Basic Corona virus is really only a version of the common cold. This new one is a variant of it from what I can understand and makes sense it is worse in people with already compromised health. If you are young and relatively healthy you probably do not have much to worry about. All tthis being said I leave on April 1st for a trip to Hawaii. My company has invoked a new policy that if you travel out of the country upon your return you cannot return to work for 2 weeks. Looks like my vacation just got extended๐๐๐

Man City v Arsenal postponed tonight.
Thanks for sharing knowledge bobby, yeah and like jt51 my mrs has underlying health issues whilst I remain health as I have a good immune system, but as I work in the public in their homes Iโd hate to carry and spread it to a more vulnerable person. I am trying to wash my hands after each job and ware gloves as much as possible to prevent any issues but the longer this goes on the more likely we will all feel some impact to our normal routine and the likely hood of large social gatherings being stopped.

Complete shutdown of the league would be tough but I think I would rather the cup was shutdown or maybe play semi and final pre season than have it played behind closed doors.

Kind of stupid comment for them to make. HOW do you tell on a freezing cold probably rainy and windy night, if someone displays flu symptoms.

I can understand them urging punters to stay away if unwell but enforcing it could turn nasty.

Donโt cough and if you must then turn it into a clearing of your throat, mental! If itโs a problem then surely play behind closed doors or cancel the game, this statement is just stupid

Watching a behind closed doors German game on BT sport at present. It's weird.

The NBA has just suspended the season due to a player testing positive for Covid19 today. Many NBA and NHL teams share arenas. Wonder how long until NHL season is suspended now? This could shut down almost every league in the world soon if they do not get a handle on things.

I think it's possible that this weekend will be the last games not held behind closed doors. This thing is escalating quite fast now..

Going by Italyโs issues in 2 weeks time we could be in lockdown, and I think DrJ is correct saying this weekend could be the last with punters getting in before closed doors games.

Hearing a rumour that a major announcement could be made as soon as tomorrow and contingency modes are in place within the banking sector, this could be lockdown in UK which Iโd imagine will effect all sporting events.
