If it goes to a vote among the SPL then we will find out who our friends are ….I'm not holding my breath.

True Rowten, the cream buns will vote against because of the Tic, we will vote against for obvious reasons, but why would anybody else vote against it from the premier league, self preservation, Livvy have said it's all about the cash. The other leagues are about promotions and relegations, but can't see how it will be anything less than the 75% needed and then onto Court, a complete waste of time? These are strange times and IMO we are going to have to accept and move on, we have been the worst side so far and the only reason we could stay up is that we are playing sides around us but our record against these sides has been pish all season so if we were to get started again I wouldn't be expecting this team of under achievers to change that.

It's interesting that Ayr United who are in a play off position have voted yes. There has always been a strong opinion around here that Ayr dont want to be promoted.

Whether we like it or not, the legal arguement is flawed. In essence the league is a private member's club, said clubs have their own ability to set rules on membership. If they tried to chuck us out for having too many black people, gay people or such like, you'd breach common law which would be different. It's an odd situation with so many permutations. Still think they should play season out behind closed doors, restrictions in general will be lifted before mass public gatherings are allowed. Players saying they'd refuse if no fans is fucking pathetic. I can't refuse to work just now because my colleagues aren't in same room. Televised, get results, be done with it. You are right in that it is a private club.
But what you aren't seeing is that it is causing unjust economic damage to a business (Hearts) and unjust enrichment to other teams (Ross C etc). That is where, regardless of the bylaws of this private members club that Hearts are a member of, it will go to court. And that is why we will win.
Whether the law should override any agreement between private parties is irrelevant in the judicial system. Personally I (mostly) disagree. What matters is that it does override it and that is why we will take them to court if they vote to relegate us and we will win on the basis of unjust economic damage to Hearts as a business and unjust enrichment - at Hearts' expense - to other businesses (Ross County etc)

Ewan Murray Tweet
I expect the SPFL to announce a consultation period on league reconstruction, possibly of 21 days. Whether that's because they have lost a resolution vote or in response to winning it.... The SPFL board meet at 5pm today

As DrJ said earlier the interesting vote would be the championship and Inverness has voted NO. The resolution has failed as the Championship has voted NO.
Edit, *** Ewan Murray has deleted his tweet ***

This is a farce, Premier League vote is rumoured to be 10-1 and some clubs have failed to vote by 1700. WTF is going on here.
